In the small town of Baton Rouge, life was forever changed when the rapture occurred. Half of the town's residents were suddenly sent to hell, leaving the remaining few to fight for survival under the new world order.
A young man named Jake was amo...
Jake ran through the deserted streets of Baton Rouge, his heart pounding in his chest. He had been out on a supply run when he heard the news about the rapture. Panic had set in, and he had rushed back to his home to check on his family.
When he arrived, he found his parents missing, and his sister Ariel's room empty. He searched the house frantically, but there was no sign of them. Jake knew he had to find his family, and fast.
He grabbed his backpack and headed out into the chaos. The streets were eerily quiet, except for the occasional sound of gunfire in the distance. Jake felt a sense of dread as he made his way towards the town center.
As he turned a corner, he came face to face with a group of men who looked like they had been through a war. They were armed to the teeth and had a fierce look in their eyes.
"Who are you?" one of the men demanded.
"I'm Jake," he replied, his voice shaking slightly. "I'm looking for my family."
The men looked at each other, then back at Jake. "Join us," one of them said. "We're the resistance. We're fighting against the new world order."
Jake hesitated for a moment, but he knew he couldn't do this alone. He nodded in agreement and followed the group as they made their way through the streets.
The resistance was small but fierce. They moved quickly and quietly, always on the lookout for danger. As they searched for supplies, Jake heard stories of the new world order and their brutal tactics. They had taken over the town and were enforcing their own laws and regulations.
Jake shuddered at the thought of his family falling into their hands. He had to find them before it was too late.
