Ok Then that's kinda weird
I climbed up to my balcony and as soon as I entered the room I was greeted with three maids putting this big puffy PINK dress. Soon enough I was dragged down stairs face to face with my father. "Are you crazy Madelyn", my father said
"No", I said
"Ok then can you explain to my why in the world you went into the forest", my father said
"What do you think, actually the better question is why the fuck am I dressed like this", I said
"First of all young lady don't talk to me with that tone a princess should even be talking like that, second of all the royal family of the kingdom of Amariallis is coming to see YOU", my father said
"Oh ya and when did I ever ask for that ugh you never stop to wonder what I want ,do you!", I yelled at my father
"Who do you think you're talking to with that tone young lady", my father said
"You who else, you may be the king of this kingdom and they may give you respect but you will never get my respect never....oh and just so you know I know you're the reason she didn't survi-" I was cut of with a knock at the door and a maid saying "sir the Amariallis family has arrived". My father looked at me angrily then said "you will behave young lady"
"As if", I whispered under
"Tell them we're on our way", my father said towards the maid. Me and my father walked into the dining room, I walked in with my head down but then my father bumped my shoulder and said "chin up Madylen" I raised my head and put on a sarcastic smile.
We sat down at the table, I had to sit right in front of who I persuaded to be the prince. I'm sure I've seen him in magazines and stuff but I've never seen him face to face he was kinda cute to be honest but with the way he was looking at me he seemed like a stuck up brat, I just stared into his eyes they reminded me of Grim's eyes but it was almost like his eyes were empty like they had no life but the smile on his face looked so genuine, wow I need to get some tips from him. I was woken up from his trance by my father saying "MADEYLEN!". I looked straight at my upset father then he said "go introduce our guest to the rest of the palace"
"Umm, ok then", I said looking at my father confused. Why did I have to show him around the palace isn't that why we have maids, ohh wait now I get it my father wants me to get to know him. He got up from his seat then walked over to my seat and exited his hand towards me, should I grab his hand nah I got this. I moved his hand to the side and tried to get up the dress was so heavy I almost fell over but I got up and we started to walk into the hallway, he looked disappointed I didn't let him help me get up. We walked down the hallway in almost complete silence until he said "Sooo, umm what's your name"
"Madelyn but call me Madi, what about you", I said still looking at the floor not wanting to make eye contact with him. He stopped walking and I looked up at him......
Sorry an other short one I meant to combine the last chapter and this one but I thought it looked goofy.
