Kayomi giggled

Kneeling down to Sakura's level, she gently pokked Sakura's cheek

"I am making your favorite syrup coated anko dumplings and dango."

Sakura's eyes lit up almost immediately

"And your brothers favorite -

"Miso soup with eggplant?"

Sakura quickly finished Kayomi's line, grinning at her cheekily

Kayomi was a little surprised and confused

"How did you know?"

"I used to cook that for him all the time. He told me I made the best Miso soup he ever had"

Kayomi chuckled

"Well, Thank you for taking care of my Kakashi back then, little blossom. Now why don't you get ready? Your brother and his friends will be here in no time "

Sakura's eyes went wide

"What!? How long did I sleep?"

Sakura asked in panic. She was pretty sure when she went to sleep, it wasn't even 12. Now suddenly it's afternoon

"Well it is afternoon......"

Sakura just ran into her room.

"Curse my luck! Like come on! Why didn't anyone wake me up! Now what will happen to me, wahhh"

She quickly went to her room and started to go through the dozens of shopping bags she just brought that morning with Kayomi

She took a decent looking dress and quickly went to the bathroom to change. While she was changing, the only pray that everything goes smoothly

The door bell of the house rang when Sakura was in her room.

Sakumo looked at his wife, who gave him a Cheshire Cat smile. Which made him sweat drop

"Oh boy... This isn't gonna end well"

He thought to himself, getting up to get to open the door

As soon as the door opened, he smiled at his son and his friends

"Hey dad, long time no see"

Kakashi said, a gentle smile underneath his mask.

Rin gave him a pleasant smile and Obito gave him a beaming grin

But before Sakumo could say anything, he was violently pushed away and Kayomi jumped on kakashi

"My Baby!"

She squealed and hugged Kakashi like her life depends on it

"Oh my little baby! How long it's been you came to see me. Did you forget about your old mother!?"

Everyone sweat dropped at her over execration. Kakashi was used to her little tantrums so he just chuckled, hugging her back

"Not at all, ma. Remember, I visited you last week? Or did my pretty mom forget that?"

Kayomi giggled and looked up at him, gently patting his head

"I know, I just missed the you... But that's all talk for later"

Then Obito said obnoxiously

"Ne ne, auntie Kayomi, did you forget there is a handsome man standing with this bakashi? Won't give me any attention?"

Kayomi giggled again, placing a gentle kiss on Obito and Rin's cheek

"Of course I didn't forget about my best boy! How can I do that? Now come give auntie a big hug"

She said, giving Obito a huge hug before coming to Rin

"Rin-chan! You look lovely"

Rin blushed

"Thank you auntie. You look amazing yourself"

She said with a pleasant smile present on her face

"Now, now honey, let the kids in. Our little blossom is eagerly waiting to meet her...... New big brother"

Sakumo said with a gentle smile

He and Kayomi shared a knowing look. This didn't go unnoticed by kakashi which made him a little hesitant to get in the house

Really hesitant

Because the look on his parent's face screamed he was in for a show he didn't know if he wanted to be a part of
