Puzzle Six-Sided Motif

This is a six-sided granny made with six colours. I've used Redheart Super Saver yarn in red, yellow, pink, blue, orange and purple and a size #5 or I hook. I found if I tried to make the motif bigger by adding more rows it lost its puzzle-like appearance.

Using colour #1, you can start with a magic circle or chain 4 and join to form a circle. Either method will work. I leave the tails dangling at the back of my piece and pick each one back up as I work my way around. Be sure to turn the piece between every round and the yarn is exactly where you need it to be.
