How it works is that you put your DNA in the sample (like saliva or something), same goes to your lover, and uh, yeah
The egg shells are automatically made- I don't really know how to explain it
Btw, after 30 days or 1 month, they can take out the egg out of the maker and raise it, after 8-9 months, it hatches
Also, for the confusion for Black Hole and Tree

He has a sister, right? Starry, and he can't put his DNA in the samples because it's physically impossible soo...
Starry used her DNA instead, so she's technically the mother of Solar Tree and Sparkle (which is why Solar Tree has a star in his eye and Sparkle is, well, sparkle)
Tree was against this at first, then after he saw that it's not possible, he just, reluctantly accepts
Solar Tree and Sparkle have no idea about this though, if they do, uh, they'll have a existential crisis
So uhm yeah
