"you there or what??" Alec yelled again ..
"Yes.. For god sake stop shouting. My ears are gonna bleed on your yelling" magnus groaned in return
Alec rolled his eyes on hearing Magnus's words..
"Do not roll your eyes at me.(Alec eyes widened in hearing that like how he finds out that he is rolling his eyes).. I will scoop that out from your socket once I get there, you gonna beg for your life.. " he said more like a whisper in his deep voice…which is not helping alec's situation..
"Do whatever you want but listen to me before that… It's about Marcus.. (magnus frowned on hearing that) He knows the package amount so change your quotation amount before you finalize it.. So you can still get the project " Alec said in one stretch like he by heart it..
Magnus looked at Raphael confusingly.. "how…ha.. how do they know??" Magnus asked to alec..
"Mr. Bane, it's your final call.. We are getting late" he heard a voice from the investors.. He gestured to them to give him a minute..
" you will get to know everything.. Now go and get your project" Alec yelled again and hung the call..
"hey….." Magnus was about to ask something but stopped when he realized Alec hung the call already.. He looked at Raphael and asked him "tell me one thing… Am I working for him? or it's just me who felt like that" magnus asked Raphael.. He meant alec and the way he hung the call.. Raphael couldn't help; he just smiled and shrugged his shoulders..
"asshole!!" he cursed alec and went inside not before correcting his package details, he quoted even a lesser amount than he did before.. For some reason he wanted to trust Alec this time…
BACK IN THE BANE'S MANSION
Alec : you like that food?? (he asked while offering a glass of water to Amanda)
Amanda didn't say anything in return, she just nodded with a weak smile.. Anouk sat next to her while caressing her head
Alec : Did they hurt you?? (he asked out of concern)
Amanda : She slapped me hard.. I fainted away after that. I just woke up when they threw me inside the car before dropping me here! (she said while eating the pumpkin pie alec made this afternoon)
Amira : she will pay for it.. Magnus will make it happen… (she said confidently, Alec gazed at amira) eat as much as you want and take a rest.. (she said, patting Amanda's shoulder).. Take her to the guest room on the ground floor.. We will talk once Magnus gets back home … (she said to anouk)
Anouk nodded gently and took her daughter to the room once she was done with her food..
Alec : what kinda human she is.. Raising her hand on an innocent kid.. (he shook his head disappointedly on Camille's inhuman behavior ).
Amira chuckled and replied "she is capable of doing more than that…a person who is capable of hurting someone mentally/emotionally is also capable of hurting anyone physically.. Just like a cup of tea for her.."
Alec thought for a second and asked again..
Alec: how come your magnus fell for a lady like her..?? (he shook his head on that).
Amira : she set a trap of love when magnus was too shaken and broken in his life.. She acted like a caring person.. Even me, Zoe and Raphael thought the relationship between Magnus and Camille was gonna be forever…we always wanted him to be happy. It's rare we see him happy for real.. With Camille he was happy for real… love or hater magnus shower it like rain.. He fell in her trap and became her puppet.. He does everything she asks for until he finds out that she is Marcus's girlfriend and she is fooling him around to break him mentally and emotionally…he suffered a lot and After that he lost his faith in love and relationships.. There are the times when magnus convinced himself that he wasn't fit for any human relationship… (she smiled bitterly remembering every single day magnus suffered in silence.. For some reason this one sentence created a deep impact on alec's heart ) he cried on that day when Camille back stabbed him… you know what alec, people only cry once in their life like that, after that they will become stone hearted, arrogant, rude ,just to protect them from others and their own demons as well …(she said waking up from the couch and walking to her room).
Alec could understand what made magnus this rude.. But that one question echoing in his head is about aurora..
"hmmm.. Where is aurora now??" Alec asked all of sudden.. Amira stopped there and turned around to face alec…
"I mean if Magnus took responsibility for Aurora then why did he fall in love with Camille.. What caused Magnus to live a broken life before Camille??" Alec asked his doubt.. Because he couldn't connect the dots.. And Aurora being pregnant and Magnus sign as spouse to be was disturbing him a lot..
Amira : it's a long story!! (she said and saw anouk coming out from the room) did she slept?? (she asked anouk)
Anouk nodded and looked at alec.." I am so scared of magnus now!! What am I gonna do When he gets to know that I am the one who betrayed him this time.. He will never forgive him.." she said with a tear filled eyes. "this place is the safer place for me and my daughter for too long.. I don't want him to kick me out" she shed her tears..
Amira : don't worry we will talk to him politely.. (she said)
Alec :politeness and Magnus is like two opposite poles (he mocked sarcastically which made amira faked his anger on alec with a little smile curling up on the corner of her lips)
Amira : Don't worry anouk… If We can't talk then our alec will do that.. Only he know how to raise voice against him (she said in even more mocking way)
Alec : seriously??? (he asked in disbelief) it's easier to dig a grave and bury myself in it than explaining things to your adoptive son .. (he rolled his eyes and shifted his gaze to the doorway when he saw Magnus's car coming inside… he adjusted his shirt when looking at the car… But when Magnus got out of the car he swallowed hard On seeing magnus fierce face and he was holding a gun in his hand and raphael was running after him trying to stop him .. It's clear he is angry.. He came up and pointed his gun straight on alec's forehead but the other person was standing there all fearless and staring straight Into Magnus's eyes )
Magnus fuming eyes which is filled with anger made Alec lost in it
Amira :magnus!!! (she shouted)
Magnus :I know you didn't do that… tell me, who did this?? (he asked pulling the trigger but still alec stood there fearlessly that look from him questioning magnus abilities without any words.. )
