𝟮𝟮. 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀 {𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗺/𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘂𝗽}

Elle stood in the hospital. She stood frozen in shock as she stood looking at the news report over a shooting. Elle knew how it bright back memories of when she was shot and when she lost her baby

"Hey, what's going on? " Owen asked

" A major Seattle-area shooting ... We have reports that a gunman has opened fire on students and faculty." The news report said

" Bailey? Bailey, fill us in. " Teddy said as Bailey went to fall but pointed to the tv

"Again, that's at Pacific College. We now take you live to our on-scene reporter. Students and faculty are still in the building. I'm trying to get some answers, but what we know so far is that a gunman opened fire at Pacific College and that there are at least a dozen.."

Elle stood there frozen. She couldn't stop thinking over the last time that there was a shooting and how she was shot and how it caused her to loose her baby. Elle knew it wasn't easy and she knew that she hated to think over what was going on

"Grey" mark said as he walked over to Elle who was crying

"I'm fine. I'm fine. " Elle said

"Go to the pit, make sure we're stocked. Call the blood bank... " mark said

"I'm fine. " Elle said

"Call the blood bank. Tell them to give us all the O neg they have." Mark said as Elle looked to her and nodded

Elle met Teddy in the ambulance bay

"Jared Swork, 20 years old, single entrance wound to the left fifth intercostal space. No exit wound. Lost vitals in front of us. This is the emergency thoracotomy we called in about. " the paramedic said

" You did a thoracotomy in the field? " teddy asked

"No, I didn't. " he said as they saw Cristina is inside, squeezing the patient's heart.

"I had to crack his chest. " cristina said

"Cristina... " owen said asCristina has her hand inside the patient's chest.

"Damn Yang" Elle said

"Can you feel the lesion?" Teddy asked

" Yes, he's got a big hole in his right ventricle, but as long as I keep my hand here, I can feel a good heartbeat. " Cristina said as Teddy is moving the patient to the OR

"Cristina" Owen said

" What? What? "

": You're going to the O.R.? "

" She's got her hand on the hole, Owen. " Teddy said

"I'll be fine. I'll be okay. "

Jackson arrives in Teddy's OR and is surprised to see Cristina there. He looked to Elle as the two of them held a look. He knew that there had been a strain in their relationship

" You paged me? Yang? " Jackson asked

" She was at the scene. " teddy said
