—6pm—

Michelle's phone rang, and she let her body sit as she held her phone.

she pick up and phone without hesitation

"Dee, I'm here na" Sam—

"already? Oh, shit.. wait for us there, I have to hurry" Michelle surprise about what she heard, because she almost forgot about Sam's coming

"you don't have to hurry Dee, just take your time I'll wait for you"

"Alright, thanks"

—ended up the call—

Michelle didn't take the call longer because she know Anntonia would react, and she don't want that to happen (again) since the two of them w just settled.

"baby, get ready.. God, I almost forgot about Sam" Michelle's voice with regrets

"calm down, Michelle" Anntonia spoke, her eyes following Michelle's figure

"I am"

"your not.. okay I'll get ready, also you rather"

"yeah, yeah"

—few minutes later when they finished getting ready, the two immediately hurried going to the parking—

;even if Michelle's already stressing, and in a hurry, she still didn't even forget to open the car door for Anntonia, and make sure that she is safe.

That is also one thing Anntonia's like about, Michelle; when it comes to Anntonia, she'll do everything perfectly.

"seatbelt on, baby?" Michelle spoke; they're already inside the car

"yes, how about you?" Anntonia asked, as she look at Michelle if her seatbelt are already on;

"yeah, okay we gotta go now"

"Don't be in hurry when driving, Dee.."

"Of course I won't.. I have my baby right here with me, she have to be safe" Michelle assuring Anntonia.

"oh, so if you're just by yourself, that's what would you do? In hurry? Or like didn't even care to yourself?" Anntonia's brow rised, her eyes hint with worry

"I guess? No, just kidding" Michelle chuckled

"I'll kill you if you do that"

"stop worrying about me, baby"

Anntonia rolled her eyes, sarcastically

Few minutes of driving, they finally arrived on the place where Sam is.

Of course, Michelle open the door for Anntonia, and held her by the hands, while making her step on the ground

gentlewoman, huh..

Michelle glance around and finally her eyes met some hand waving towards her.

"Sam" Michelle voice excited as she make her way towards Sam.

Sam immediately hugged Michelle, thought about finally she hugged her best girl.

while Anntonia just staring at them forced smiling but within, God, she wanna get Michelle away from Sam; she can smell something fishy about how Sam treated Michelle.

"I missed you, you didn't even tell me about going here, huh" Sam stated, as she hit Michelle on the chest

'wow, the nerve for hitting my woman' Anntonia's thought

Michelle glance at Anntonia, already saw the hint on Anntonia's face; but remained talking to Sam since she don't even know what to do

"oh, I just wanna bring Anntonia here" Michelle stated as she come closer to Anntonia and gently held her waist.

"Anntonia, by the way, you already know this woman right? from, Max, and Rhian's birthday party" Michelle introduced Anntonia to Sam

"uh, yeah, I guess.. Hi Anntonia" Sam forces smiling, her eyes brings her on Michelle's hand on Anntonia's waist

"Hi" Anntonia's short replies, as she noticed Sam's eyes on Michelle's hand

"you know what, you have to tour me here Michelle" Sam grab Michelle's hand and started to walk; but Michelle hesitate, looked at Anntonia

Anntonia just nodding almost losing her mood again, but still give Michelle a "just go" look.

Sam had already gotten into the car and taken the passenger seat—Ann feeling a bit disappointed, didn't want to cause any fuss, so she reluctantly settled for the back seat.

Michelle hesitating going inside the car since she more wanted to seat with Anntonia.

Michelle open the back door for Anntonia and again give Anntonia a "you sure you're okay here" look

Anntonia gave Michelle a understanding nodded and smile.

Michelle then got inside the car; As Michelle started driving, Anntonia on the back seat, couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy.

She just watched as Sam and Michelle engaged in lively conversation, laughing and sharing inside jokes.

Anntonia wanted to cry, already missing Michelle's attention; as Anntonia felt left out, wished she could be the one sitting next to Michelle, enjoying her undivided attention.

Michelle, being perceptive, noticed Anntonia being so quiet and sensed that something was off. She already know what Anntonia feels inside—

her baby is not comfortable with this:(

She wanted to hugged the quiet woman, but couldn't..

Michelle turned to Anntonia and asked

"hey, bab—Ann, you okay there?" Michelle soft worried voice, almost drop the 'baby' thingy

Caught off guard; Anntonia quickly brushed off her feelings, putting on a brave face.

"Oh, I'm fine.." Anntonia replied with forced smile.

"just lost in my thoughts" she added.

Michelle gave Anntonia a smile, indicating "I'll give you all my attention later, baby, I'm sorry"

Anntonia also give Michelle a "I'll wait for that, hun" looks

Michelle get back driving; Sam's clinginess towards Michelle became more apparent. Michelle feel a bit awkward since, she is loyal on Anntonia's movements and presence.

—Sam constantly sought Michelle's attention, touching her arm, and leaning in a little too close.

Each gesture made Anntonia's jealousy grow stronger. She couldn't understand why Sam was being so forward, or she is just like this to everybody?

It made Anntonia feel insecure about her own connection with Michelle.

while Michelle, aware of Anntonia's tendency to react strongly to certain situations, tried her best to maintain a friendly and neatural approach with Sam.

—and also, Michelle didn't want to fuel Anntonia's jealousy or create any tension between them.

Michelle remained to treated Sam like any other friend, not realizing the impact it was having on Anntonia.
