My uncle Dave was a business man. When he got out of prison he continued to be a business man for as long as he could. He's been diagnosed with cancer a few years back.
He had rental properties in San Augustine that I know of at least. He has a caring and special heart for people and takes care of his family the best he can since he was teen.
People used to write letters to Dave when he was in prison when he first went because he had a large impact on people. As time went by though, the older people he really knew either died or quit writing as much.
I've had family members tell me they used to write to him quite a bit. From the sounds of it he was loved by a lot of people. He's 77 years old now.
