"It's time to wake up!" Emily creamed jumping on my Bed being as annoying as possible

"Angel! Come help me! She's a rock" She yelled

"BROOSSSKKKIIIII" Angel screamed getting closer

"Get up! Get up! Get up!" He sang. Oh yeah, he can sing like an Angel, no pun intended.

"Go away" I groaned into my pillow

"AHH IT'S AWAKE" Angel screeched

I heard Emily laugh then a loud thud. I completely ignored it

"Emily you fell off the bed! Ahh fat buddy let me help you" Angel said laughing

I couldn't help but giggle, she was such a klutz

"Hey I heard that!" Emily whined

I heard her get up and walked out the room, or so I thought.

The cocoon of duvet I was warmly wrapped I was yanked from my body revealing me to the evil cold morning air. The cold hit me like a brick wall, I curled up into my fetal position and shut my eyes tighter. Then the memory hit me. I sat up at the speed of light

"Ben" I cried out. My eyes searched the room frantically for the man i haven't seen in about four months, but the only faces I found were the ones of Angel and Emily confused. Tears started to roll down my cheek for absolutely no reason. I can't believe what had just happened. I haven't thought about him once in the longest time, or spoken or seen him. I missed him. But I had moved on; almost completely. I stopped crying and pulled myself together before anyone could say anything. I got off my bed an stood up straight looking at my two best friends. Angel opened his mouth slightly to say something but I cut him off

"I'm fine. What are we doing today?"

"We're going shopping for the party" Emily said

"Okay, I'm gonna go get ready" I said and walked into my closet not saying another word. I searched the top rack for my pants but went frantic

"WHERE ARE MY PANTS!" I screamed

"Their in the laundry basket" Angel called out

What the....

"WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR!?" I screamed

Emily walked calmly into my closet with a pair of dark shorts in her hand.

Oh he'll no. There's was absolutely no way I was going to put shorts on.

1. My thighs are huge 2. My cuts will show... 3. I look ugly and awkward in them

"Before you say anything, just try it on. It's long enough and it will cover. Just try it on"

I sighed and took the shorts. I stepped in front of the mirror and slipped them on. My eyes were shut as tight as possible, i was afraid to see my reflection. You see, if i opened my eyes and thought i looked like a cow, i would feel bad all day. I would feel self conscious and ugly. Now, if i thought i looked good, i would probably be overflowing with happy colors.

I slowly peeled my eyes open prepared for the worst and to my surprise, i didn't see what i thought i would. I didn't look bad. The shorts hugged my thighs perfectly, my cuts didn't show and i didn't look fat. She was right, she always is right, like the mother she was. she was right.

I went about face to see my rack of shirts. My eyes wandered up and down the racks of shirts i owned over a million times but nothing seemed to come to my liking. After what seemed like forever i finally decided on a tank top that was darkish-orange and had the face of a lion on it. I pulled it over my head then slipped on my combat boots and then smiled. I actually thought i looked good today. Wow. I slipped my phone into my back pocket, grabbed my keys and walked downstairs carefully so that i wouldn't have a mouthful of floor in my mouth. When i reached the bottom of the stairs alive i walked into the living room to find Emily reading on the couch and Angel playing on his phone sitting on the arm of the couch. Angel lifted his head and did a double-take
