Chapter one

It was a strange sight, humanity worshiping gods many, many years ago, many people still do but a lot do not believe in gods anymore, one god, Ying Yue, the God Of The Moon is well known and worshiped in many places, some for good reasons and some for bad, he travels in dreams, it is his duty to protect the mortals from there nightmares or else they will become real, he is also only known by his female form, if there is a story with his male form it is extremely inaccurate

Ying Yue is known to never leave the moon unless it is doing his job or it's extremely important, now after many moons he is seen again

The city in the Heavenly Realm was bustling, busy as usual, gossip going around along with drama and other usual things but there was some rush, the Heavenly Officials were called and they were all gathered at a matter that was rather..Worrisome because of the mortals

“Why were we called?”

“It's something important obviously!”

“Then what is it?”

“SOMETHING IMPORTANT-”

“Everyone” A man said while being atop his throne, staring down at the Heavenly Officials with sharp eyes as he stared at them

“Heavenly Emperor” The officials say in union as they bowed their heads while the man named Jun Wu, the Heavenly Emperor waved his hand in dismissal

“There is no time to bow your heads” Jun Wu said as he sat up straight and tall, his demeanor more stern and serious than usual as he stared at them, there was obviously something that was brought to his attention and Jun Wu is not so pleased with it

“It has come to my attention that cults have been rising at some of our fellow gods shrines, I want you to stop them” Jun Wu says sternly and bitterly, his eyes growing more cold as he says this

“Of course” They say, bowing their heads before leaving Jun Wu in the throne room ‘alone’

As Jun Wu rests his face on his palm he looked around as he felt a familiar presence, an old and familiar presence “I feel your presence, come out” Jun Wu says as he looked to where the person was, just to be shocked with Ying Yue coming out of his spot and walking towards Jun Wu's throne with ease

“My, my Jun Wu, you are as skilled, id expect this from my former student” I say as I stand in front of his throne, my black fan covering my mouth so my eyes were only shown, Jun Wu instantly calmed as he got up and walked down to me

“Ying Yue, it's been years since I've seen you, it gets lonely without you” Jun Wu says with a smile as he stared down at me, making me chuckle before shutting my fan

“Its only been fifteen moons, it's not that much” I say with a smile, making Jun Wu let out a laugh before turning serious

“I'm going to top the cults that are at your shrine” Jun Wu says sternly, obviously wanting them gone but didn't want to show it, but it was shown in his voice and actions

“Oh Jun Wu..You're very intimidating” I said before patting his cheek, after I would walk away before turning back to him

“I do want to talk to you tomorrow, I have something to discuss, go along now” Jun Wu says, I'd bow my head before leaving, after leaving the I'd jump down from the Heavenly Realm to the Mortal Realm before sighing

“Jun Wu is naive sometimes” I say as I start to walk down a path to a village, wanting to do something for once instead of staying on the moon more than I already did
