Our protagonist Yichen【逸尘】has been transmigrated into the novel tgcf where he became one of the most hated villain of the story, Qi rong. The little cousin brother of the original main character Xie lian. The timeline he enters the story is before all the chaos happened, at the time when xie lian is still learning martial arts and cultivation in Tai cang mountain in Xian Le kingdom. What will our protagonist do when he finds himself becoming a character in this novel? That too, such a character? Will he become a kind little brother? or does he continue to act evil? Will he follow the story plot? or does he change the plot? Will it be a typical transmigration story? or Not? Just when it seems like you get what the protagonist is like, he shows his different sides and stories that are yet to reveal. Just who is he? What kind of life did he have? A story goes that an ancient kingdom withheld a godly prince. The people of his kingdom loved him and he loved them in return. Even after his kingdom fell, he was remembered. His story went through many mouths and was muddled into nothing but a short story of his battles and victories. People only remember that he was depicted as a god crafted from the sun. His eyes are made from the finest obsidian. His godhood outshone the other officials in heaven. His kindness is brighter than any other star in heaven. The ancient story of the prince will be told once again today.

HuaLian fic set in the modern day. Xie Lian is a 27 year-old man, living a simple life, nothing of much significance. His job is all over the place and nothing too permanent. Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan go for a uni assignment at Ghost City, a pop-up market organised by Hua Cheng. They take a colleague, Lang Qianqiu, who stirs trouble following a rumour of gang clashes; painful memories arise, and Xie Lian gets in trouble.

Hua Cheng takes Xie Lian and Lang Qianqiu undercover to a gathering at The Green Ghost Qi Rong's Lair; they want to confront him and ask about An Le and FangXin. Qi Rong talks too much for his own good, Xie Lian has a meltdown and Lang Qianqiu learns the truth about the past.

"What are we exchanging," the scholar asked. His curiosity was getting the best of him. What would they exchange? A gift among friends. Maybe a sweet treat. Perhaps, he would be gifted a matching tassel that his highness would also wear. A small sign between the two friends that they truly are close to one another. "I have heard of a new way to exchange...spiritual energy," the prince replied. "It requires two people, and you have to physically touch one another; but you have to do a different kind of...touching per say." The prince had his head laid against the shelves much like the scholar. The only difference was that he was looking down at the shorter man instead of at the ceiling. He still picked at his fingers, his thumb was turning red and drops of blood dripped from it. The scarlet liquid dripped onto the floor soaking the once dusty foundation with crimson.

To stay away from Hua Cheng, Xie Lian goes to assist Officer Quan Yizhen in his investigations; they meet The Brocade Immortal, responsible for abnormal crypto transactions in The Heavens! Xie Lian gets the assignment of broadcasting Mount Tong'Lu Festival with Hua Cheng. They learn the story behind The Crown Prince of WuYong; Feng Xin and Mu Qing expose who Hua Cheng really is!

They had potential to be a powerful ghost supreme and they were being a headache for the heavens to handle. That certain someone even challenged He Xuan. Not stopping at it though, they planned to even team up with Bai Wuxiang. When they met with Hua Cheng and Xie Lian on the battlefield, it was a complete different scenario!.... Little do they know, a figure in white is waiting for the perfect moment to strike. (This does diverge from the original storyline to add more angst and horror into it. )
