Today was going to be a busy day, as you had scheduled yourself to hang out with Sonic and Shadow. Naturally, it was supposed to be a day with just Shadow, but Sonic felt as if the two of you hadn't hanged out a lot as of recent. You tried to tell him that you both lived together and that should be enough, but that didn't satisfy the hedgehog.

So, you decided to do something simple and just have the two boys hang out with you at your house. Sure, you could go out and explore the rest of Green Hills, but you felt like that would somehow end up badly. Knowing that one of the two hedgehogs gets peckish easily, you decided to go out of your way to go get ingredients for some pastries. Maybe it would help you find inner peace while hanging out with the two.

Bowing your head repeatedly in thanks to Vanilla, the rabbit merely laughed and kept telling your to raise your head. You had showed up at such an unexpected time and asked for so much of the mother that you simply felt bad. After reassuring her that you would be back and would repay her, you went on your way, not without saying goodbye to Cream, though.

You counted the objects in your arms and hummed at the small fact that they were kind of hard to hold. Many mobians waved and shouted hellos to you, you ending up having to just nod your head simply as you walked out of the village. You would typically fly in and out of locations, but with the load you were carrying, you knew it would be a long walk back home. You hoped Shadow and Sonic haven't blow the area up yet.

A good ten minutes into your walk, you paused upon hearing a strange sound, one that you rarely, if ever, heard. Tilting your head around, you tried to decipher where the sound had came from, only to find yourself surrounded in a thick forest. Humming, you placed your objects down to the ground gently and dusted your hands off, determined to find the source of the sound.

Floating up into the air, you followed the sound of gasping and small chatter, pushing away a few leaves to get closer. You let out a noise of shock as you ducked downwards, barely managing to dodge a rock that was flown your way. The person shouted for you to reveal yourself, you sticking a hand upwards to show where you were, as you had fallen in a bush.

You heard a subtle gasp before the person grabbed your hand, pulling and helping you out of the bush. "I'm so so so sorry Y/n! I didn't know it was you!" You shook your head and let out a small sigh with a smile, thanking Silver as he helped you stand up. "I just... I'm still not used to traveling to Green Hills. I didn't expect to land here." You nodded your head in understanding as Silver used his powers to lift and detangle branches and leaves out of your hair, you watching with high interest.

Once he was done, you thanked the boy before gesturing over to the main road, Silver following right behind you. "I was just walking back home from Floral Forest Village. I heard the sound of a Chaos Emerald, so I figured you or Shadow would be nearby." You explained your reason for being out in the woods, now emerging on the tilled path. "What's your reason of travel today? You've been showing up a lot more. Not in a rude way, it's nice to see you." You instantly covered up your words, bending downwards to grab the objects you had dropped off on the side.

Silver let out an awkward laugh, assuring you that he knew exactly what you meant before standing awkwardly to the side. "I just wanted to come down, you know? The future is fine, if you're wondering." You nodded your head and stood back up fully, almost dropping an object if Silver hadn't quickly caught it. "Woah, that's a lot! Do you need help?" Silver asked as he held one of the objects on his palm, tossing the apple up and down a few times.
