Adaria's POV
We have been driving nonstop for hours so I hadn't paid much attention when we finally stopped and exited the car.

"Oi why have we stopped" I shouted over to them as I poked my head outta the car
"Because we're here" my dad said whilst turning back to look over the city
"Chicago, I know how much you loved it here Stefan. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days?" he said whilst chuckling
"Blacked out most of them. A lot of blood, a lot of partying. The details are all a blur" said Stefan
"Well, that is a crying shame. The details are what make it legend and Chicago was magical"
"Well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I don't remember most of it"

"Yeah Yeah, who cares anyway. Why are we here?" I said whilst slamming the car door
"Well my darling, we have some business to attend to. We're going to see my favorite witch. If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her" he said "Your business and your problem, it has nothing to do with Stefan and I" I said whilst walking off

Gloria's Bar"Looks familiar, doesn't it?" my dad said across to Stefan as we walked into some random bar"I can't believe this place is still here" said Stefan, looking around in shock"What did you guys used to hang out or something" I said as a la...

Gloria's Bar
"Looks familiar, doesn't it?" my dad said across to Stefan as we walked into some random bar
"I can't believe this place is still here" said Stefan, looking around in shock
"What did you guys used to hang out or something" I said as a laugh left my mouth

"You got to be kidding me" said an older woman as she walked towards us

"So a hybrid walks into a bar, says to the bartender..." my dad said smiling, god he thinks he's hilarious
"Stop. You may be invincible, but that doesn't make you funny" said the lady
"I remember you" she directs at Stefan "But I don't believe I've had the honor" she says to me, reaching her hand across for me to shake
"Adaria, nice to meet you"
"Gloria here is a very powerful witch" my dad said to us both

"Why don't you go and fix us up a little something from behind the bar" my dad said to us both

I was pouring us some drinks when I spotted something
"Um hey Stef" I said pointing to a photograph that was hung on the wall
"What is this?" He shouted over to Klaus, whilst holding the photo in his hand
"Well, I told you, Stefan. Chicago's a magical place"
"But this is me. With you"

"This doesn't make any sense

"This doesn't make any sense. Why don't I remember you?" Stefan said whilst looking over to photo
"You said it yourself, that time had a lot of dark holes" said my dad whilst sipping his drink
"He compelled you dummy" I said bored
"If you knew me, then why haven't you said anything?" said Stefan
"I'm a little busy right now. Memory Lane will have to wait" he said slamming his glass down and standing

"What the hell is going on? Answer me" Stefan raised his voice
"Let's just say we didn't get off to a brilliant start. To be honest, I hated you, but after a short amount of time I became your number one fan"

"Why should I believe any of this?"
"I don't understand why any of this matters" I said as my father ignored the both of us

Warehouse
"Who is that" I said whilst staring at the girl in the coffin
"That my sweet Adaria, is your aunt Rebekah" my dad said whilst walking off
"Stay here until she wakes up and then bring her to Gloria's once she's bled dry the security guard" "Great" I muttered under my breath

"Where are you going?" said Stefan angrily following him out
"You think I'm lying, Stefan. You and I knew each other. You trusted me with one of your secrets and now I'm going to prove it to you"
"How?"
"We're going to your old apartment"

After what felt like years, my desiccated aunt slowly regained her colour whilst as she suddenly shot up and fed on the security guard that was left for her

"Wow you were really hungry" I said whilst sat on a coffin across from her "You look a lot better than you did a second ago"
"Who the hell are you" she screamed whilst pinning me to a wall as I suddenly switched places with her "Do not start a fight that you'll lose, you're old enough to know better" I said as I pushed her away from me

"How are you stronger than me" she said in her raised voice
"I'm not here to fight you Rebekah, your brother asked me to bring you to Gloria's bar once you were awake" I said
"She said you know how to contact the original witch"
"The original witch?" Rebekah scoffed
"What do you have that Gloria needs" I asked her curiously whilst Rebekah reached up to touch her neck

"Where's my necklace? What did you do with it? I never take it off!" Rebekah shouts, coming at me again
"I don't know what you're talking about" I said calmly whilst dodging her
"We need to find it. Now, I want it back!" she said whilst frantically looking through her coffin

"Ah Rebekah you're awake, I was wondering what was taking you both so long" Klaus says smugly whilst walking back into the warehouse
Rebekah lunged at him whilst plunging her dagger into his heart
"Go to hell, Nik!" she shouts in his face

Klaus pulls the dagger out of his chest and dropped it down by his side
"Don't pout. You knew it wouldn't kill me" he said annoyedly
"Yeah, but I was hoping it would hurt more" she said
"I understand that you're upset with me, Rebekah...So I'm going to let that go. Just this once. Brought you a little peace offering. You can come in" my dad said as Stefan entered the warehouse

"Stefan..." she says in shock as he stares at the three of us

"Now you remember" dad says whilst compelling him
"I remember you. We were friends" said Stefan confusedly
"We are friends" said my dad
"Ha yeah right" I said whilst unable to control my laughter
"Who did you say you were again" Rebekah said to me
"By the way she lost the necklace that Gloria needs, to contact the original witch" I said to my dad, whilst ignoring her question

"Tell me that's not true, Rebekah!" he growled

"Thanks a lot, stranger" she glared at me as I shrugged my shoulders
