Heavenly Bodies

He was like a season. Cold like winter, beautiful like spring. How you have fallen from my heart  O Morning Star.

The choir sang, bells rang, harps harped, the lyre stringed, there was a wonderful harmony in heaven as Cyrill  dressed in an all white suite and shoes walked through the gates. A place whiter than white. It was pure, too pure for him he thought. He didn't spend much time here because as much he knew he didn't fit in here, others knew it too and made sure he didn't forget. He walked into the management area and made his way to the guardians section. A little wave here and there, they were wondering what he was doing up there in the management section and he couldn't help but to wonder why too as he got into Oliver's office.

“What an honor for you to finally grace me with your presence Cyrill after I invited you three months ago”Oliver said angrily.
“Well I was very busy Oliver” Cyrill said casually.
“Busy doing what, where were you even your only friend Jasper couldn't find you”.
“I was roaming”
“Roaming where?”Oliver said concerned.
“Earth, I am always fascinated by the people there and I find it quite boring here honestly”Cyrill said and Oliver let out an exasperated sigh.
“What do you expect me to do with that information, I have to report you. You know your not meant to be roaming without a mission or an assignment.“
“Well I haven't had an assignment in three hundred years so forgive me if I need to explore a little you know”
“Well that's because your incompetent and not serious” Oliver said plainly.
“Look if you called me here for no reason then I'm heading out”Cyrill said angrily.
“Well if you had answered me three months ago you would have had an excuse to be down there. I have an assignment for you” Oliver said.
“Your joking, say the truth. Oliver I swear if your joking then I'll—”Cyrill said and Oliver pushed a file to him and he read it.
“A conversion mission, my first assignment in three hundred years and it's to convert an unbeliever. Yeah I'll pass thanks”Cyrill said smugly.
“It's not on my order, like I don't know there are more competent messengers than you. It's an order from above”he scoffed.
“So you mean it's from..“Cyrill said and Oliver nodded.
“But you're her guardian, do It yourself”
“It's part of the plan Cyrill, we cannot disrupt the plan”
“A conversion after three hundred years, I'm going to be the laughing stalk.“
“You already are Cyrill just get this right. I'll like to get reports on your progress often.“
“Whatever, let's get this over with”Cyrill said getting up.
“April is a special girl Cyrill don't make another mistake”.

Cyrill and Jasper were sitted on the Celestial Magazine office building as they were human hunting.
“Oliver is crazy, how could he give you a conversion. No one's going to shut up about it now”Jasper said complaining with Cyrill.
“From above, like anyone gives a damn about me, he's just too lazy to do his job. I deserve to be a guardian not him”Cyrill said.
“Exactly just cause he got a promotion he thinks he can send you to do anything”jasper added.
“But when I run off and start lazying around, then I'm rebellious” Cyrill said with air quotes and started laughing hysterically.
“Could you stop doing that by the way, I was really worried when you went off without telling anyone the last time”Jasper said concerned.
“Jasper, I'm going to kill this job and prove to everyone that I'm more than my past mistakes”
“Attaboy”Jasper said slapping him on the back and they laughed hysterically once more.
“How about that one, he's kinda ugly though”Cyrill said pointing at a middle aged man in a designer black suit.
“Three hundred years really made you forget, what it felt like transforming didn't it. You won't look like him, you'll just be him without really changing. Everyone that knew him before would think he always looked like you”
“That's convenient, plus he is the manager here. I gotta go, the file said she would be here any second now”
“What's her name again?“Jasper asked.
“April, she's pretty for a human I guess. See you later buddy”Cyrill said and with the snap of a finger he was in a black designer suit and in the office of the manager of Celestial Magazine.
“Let's make this one quick”Cyrill said with a sigh and went out to see the secretary in front of his office.
“Hi Penny”Cyrill said cherrily.
“Mr Cyrill you should have called”
“Oh, just wanted to stretch my legs”
“Are you okay Mr Cyrill?“
“Why do you ask that?“
“Well you did just call me a bitch five minutes ago  for making your coffee too sweet”
“Aaaah I did? Well that was really bitchy ruining my morning coffee like that but it's all in the past now right?“.
“I guess”she said skeptically.
“Can you cancel all the interviews for a new assistant except Miss April Wilde”
“All of them?“
“Mmmmhm”
“B-b-but they've been here since morning, it would be unfair to them”
“Trust me Penny, I know this girl April, she's perfect for the job”
“You know her?“
“Actually no, but cancel the interview or your fired” he said and walked into his office.
“Oh and Penny” he said popping his head out of the office.
“Yes Mr Cyrill?“
“I like my coffee sweet”he said and went back in.
