I ran my hand on the oak wood table and turned to the beautiful garden before me, the plum blossoms falling from the trees and slowly landing on the river, floating away.

This sect must love plum blossoms; no matter where I look, they are everywhere. But it is calming, and it's a beautiful sight to look at; the air is fresh, and the scenery before me is lovely. I closed my eyes and genuinely felt calm in this garden.

I quickly opened my eyes and felt something near me; I quickly turned around, and Min stood before me—the girl who took me to her father a couple of hours ago. I sighed in relief since it was just her, "My lady? You're back in the garden again?" As I nodded, she asked me, "This garden is calming and lovely. I couldn't help but come here again," I tell her as I put my attention back to the lovely scene.

I heard Min laugh behind me, "It is a beautiful garden, my lady. You always did love coming to this place," she said in a kind tone. 'I used to come here?' As she continued speaking, I couldn't help but think, "I heard that the late mistress loved to garden. The Meihua sect was always known for its plum blossoms, and the late mistress loved them very much," Ah. So that's why there are so many plum blossoms in this garden.

She keeps saying, 'Late mistress,' Is the mistress dead? Wait, if Min refers to the woman, mistress, and me, my lady, then that woman must be my mother. 'I see, even in this life, ҉I҉ ҉d҉҉o҉҉n҉'҉t҉ ҉h҉҉a҉҉v҉҉e҉ ҉a҉ ҉m҉҉o҉҉t҉҉h҉҉e҉҉r҉' ' what? What the hell was that? Who was I thinking about? My hand shakingly went towards my head, barely clutching the side of it as I looked down at my lap.

"...dy" why was I just thinking about it? "Y....ady," just who? "My lady?" I heard Min call out as she put her hand on my shoulder, which snapped me out of my thoughts, and I looked back at her. 'What was I talking about? I don't remember,' I thought to myself, "Yes?" I asked as she had a solemn expression, "I'm sorry for bringing up the late mistress, my lady. It was insensitive of me," she apologized, and I just shook my head, "It's alright," I told her.

"Don't apologize. You were telling me a bit about my mother," at least I know a little bit of information. I stood up and looked back at Min, "I would like to go back to my room," I told Min, and she nodded in understanding, "I'll escort you to your room," she said, and we began walking away from the garden.

After a few minutes of walking and being lost in thought, wondering what happened back in the garden, we made it to the room. Min slid the wooden door open, and I walked inside, "Have a wonderful night, my lady," she said as she closed the door, and I heard her footsteps fading down the hallway.

I looked around the room; it looked like a noble room from those historical Chinese dramas. It was excellent, and there was an open window with wooden carvings; the window also faced the garden. I turned my back from it, took off my outer robes, and set them down at the edge of the bed. I was left in my inner robes and sat down, "... I should go to sleep," I whispered to myself as I lay down on the bed and closed my eyes, letting sleep take over me.

Everything is dark, yet I hear birds chirping. Is it morning already? "My lady!" I listened to a young girl's voice yell out to me as I opened my eyes. I feel strange. I don't feel like myself; it is almost like I'm not controlling my movements. I rose from the bed and got up, "no need to yell," I said. I didn't say anything. Is this a dream?

"I apologize, my lady. But I can't help but be excited! We are in the cloud recesses," the young girl's voice said. I proceeded to get ready as I went to grab the outer robes of my hanfu, and I wanted to pause from shock, my left arm. Why do I have my left arm back? And where am I? I was sleeping in a different room than this.
