Where are you. (PART 1)

I apologize for posting this a day late 😭

". . Ugh. . What the heck. ." Taehyun woke up with a really bad headache.

To add onto it, he was also really confused.

He realized he was at Beomgyu's but what in the hell happened?

"Oh, you're awake." Beomgyu opened the door, holding a tray of breakfast.

"My head's spinning like crazy. ." He dramatically rubbed his head in pain.

"Here, have some pain killers. I made you breakfast too. You'll need it." The older sternly said, before walking away.

"Wait, Beomgyu hyung!" He called after him, but he was already gone.

Something in Taehyun told him that he messed up, again.

Why though, I mean he wasn't like a magician or anything. . Right?

"Good morning, Taehyun!" Beomgyu's mother beamed.

"Hey, Mrs. Choi. Sorry for the inconvenience again. ." He awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

"Oh don't you worry too much, you're basically family! What exactly happened yesterday for you to pass out like that?"

"Honestly, I don't know. . My mind's really foggy, and I've got a pretty bad headache."

"Oh, poor you. Here, I cooked your favorite, porridge. With many green onions! Eat up when you get home, alright?" She smiled brightly.

"Wow, thank you much! It's been a while since I've eaten something warm." He repeatedly bowed, grateful for the meal.

"Where's your mother, Taehyun? Is she still?. ." She asks him with a worried voice.

"Oh. Uh. Yeah, she's still in London. The people over there aren't exactly thrilled with her resigning." He looked down.

"Well I'm sure she misses you a lot. She'll come back soon enough."

"Yeah."

"Mom, I'm going now!" Beomgyu shouted, putting his shoes on.

"Beom, before you go, say goodbye to Taehyun properly!"

"Tsk. As if." He mumbled, rolling his eyes.

"Now what was that, young man? I didn't teach you to have that kind of attitude!" She reprimanded him.

"Sorry, mom! But I. . I have my reasons." His voice was unsure, his face turning into a frown.

And then, Taehyun remembered what had happened last night.

He tried to kiss Beomgyu while saying Yeonjun's name.

"Oh, Beomie. . What's wrong?" His mom rubbed his back soothingly.

"I just. . I thought friends were there to be with you, stay with you, and comfort you. Make you feel safe, and loved. But in truth, they won't be there at your lowest. They abandon you, and hurt you instead."
