stuck.(an elevator hitch ff)

1. Amusement Park.

btw since protag does not have a canon name i'll give him one,James (kindly suggested by my sweet little female child w1nn3_) and co worker will just be bryce cause its the "canon" name that suits him better,but i'll call them co worker and protag/protagonist,i'll call them by their names only in dialogues

Also P.S,i may make up some stuff to go on with the plot (also cause these two dont have any fucking canon childhood)

It's been,what,3 hours?both Co-worker and Protag have been dying infinitely,and terribly,they are sick of it,both of them are well aware of the fact that they have been dying and dying for the past hours, but the worst part?everytime they died,it's as if they respawned,meaning that they had experienced several brutal deaths,the fact that they watched eachother die kind of formed an empathy towards the other,that made the two men go insane,they couldn't tell anymore what was real or not,after a few other minutes of painful deaths,the elevator doors opened and...surprisingly found an amusement park..?of course they knew it was going to be a trick,but they went to check cause they should have anyways,1 hour went by and there was absolutely nothing to worry about,yet they both were still a bit suspicious,but they tried to distract theirselfs a bit by having fun,after some time they were at the final ride,the ferris wheel.

ah yes,the most famous and most loved one by couples,surely wont hurt,right?

Co-worker gulped at the sight of the ferris wheel but said nothing as the two went on the ride.
Co-worker kept his eyes shut the whole ride while Protag was staring outside stunningly,but later on he noticed co worker looking...scared?he was slightly worried about him,but why was he?its just a normal co worker of his after all,he still decided to check up on him

Protag: "Bryce is everything alrigh-"
Co-worker:"YEP EVERYTHINGS ALRIGHT!" he said loudly with his eyes shut,interrupting Protag,he was slightly annoyed by that but still continued to speak after him
Protag:"are you sure?your eyes have been shut for the whole ride..are you maybe scared?"
Co worker did not answer,he just silently groaned
Protag:"Hey it's totally fine if you're scared of ferris wheels,i won't make fun of you" protag said in a reassuring tone and pat Co-worker on the shoulder,after maybe 5/10 seconds,Co-worker opened his eyes and instantly hugged Protag and buried his hand on his chest,clinging onto his coworker
Co-worker:"OKAY FINE IM AFRAID OF FERRIS WHEELS!!please don't make fun of me..." he said,maybe who knows,he wasn't the tough and rude guy he showed he was,Protag slightly smiled and started ruffling his hair
Protag:"hey don't worry,i told you i wouldn't make fun of you in any way,i have some childish fears myself so i can't blame you" he said and chuckled softly,Co-worker looked up and smiled slightly at him,and buried his head back on Protag's chest.

The two finally got off the ride after a while and had a small talk

Protag:"well that should be all the rides,im glad we got a break from...all that...even if i find it suspicious that it was only us,but i dont mind as long nothing bad happens"
Co-worker:"hm,that's true,now that you mention it there's nobody,oh well at least we didn't get hurt,i had fun here with you newbie!" he said and grabbed Protag by the waist with an arm,and kinda aggressively ruffled his hair,yep,the old Co-worker was back again,but he didn't mind as much as he did before,he was starting to tolerate him and his attitude,maybe if he was stuck forever in the elevator with him,he wouldn't really mind.

the two of them got on the elevator again,they noticed a new button appearing,Co-worker and Protag looked at eachother,and clicked the button,it couldn't go worse than it did before after all,right?
The doors of the elevator closed,who knows what's going to be in the next floor?
