6. ENGAGEMENT

"Kya kar rahi hai aap aashi,hum jo hai nahi wo ban rahe hai" maanveer said and ruffled his hairs

Dinner table,raghuvanshi haveli

"Maan,we are thinking about your marriage. I think i should go to singhania haveli and tell them about wedding,what do you say" shashidhara asked

"I have no problem dadisa,but before taking any decision ask aashi first. If she is ready, then and then only we will think about it" maanveer said in his casual stern tone

"Why should we ask her,i mean we are ladkewale,we will decide na" nandni said interrupting them

Aarav rolled his eyes

"Yes bhuasa,we are ladkewale. Khareed nahi liya humne singhanias ko. Agar aashi ready honge tab hi shadi hogi warna nahi" maanveer said and joined his hands to plate and stood up

"I hope dadisa hume is mamle mai aage kuch bolna na pade" saying this he left

"He is right,we can't force them" vikram said and left

"Maasa,I'm telling you this girl has wrapped our maan around her fingers" nandni said

"And our bhaisa is happy,i don't think we want anything else" aarav said and nandni glared at him. Aarav rolled his eyes and continued his dinner

Aashi was sitting and reading book. Her phone rang and she saw maanveer's name on screen. She widen her eyes and her heart started beating fast. She took a long breath before answering his call

"Hello" she said in soft tone

Maanveer leaned back to his bed and smiled

"I hope i didn't disturbed you" he said

"N...no..i was reading novel" she said fidgeting her dupatta

"Oh,you like novels" he asked

"Yes,i read it in free time" she replied

"Okay okay,had dinner" he asked

"Yes,you" she asked

"Yes,by the way i want to tell you something" he said in serious tone

"Yes" she replied sensing seriousness in his tone

"Dadisa is coming tomorrow, she is thinking about wedding. I want you to take decision" he said

Aashi's heart skipped a beat hearing wedding

"What's your decision" she asked

"I'm ready, but i don't want you to say yes for family or me. We will finalize everything after your answer only. And if you can't tell your family,tell me. I will answer evryone" he said

Aashi's heart fluttered at his concern. She smiled

"I..i'm..ready" she said shutting her eyes tightly

"You sure,see there's no pressure,you..." he was cut-off by aashi,for the first time somone had done this

"Yarr I'm ready i want to marry you" aashi said in annoyance

Maanveer's heart skipped a beat,aashi face palmed realizing

"What did you said" maanveer asked

"Um..bhaisa...bhaisa is calling me..i..will..call..you later" saying this she cut the call and put her hands on her chest

Maanveer smiled and shook his head
