Chapter Forty Six

I glared at her one last time and left the cafeteria. I feel so damn angry, who the fuck does she think she is

Why does everyone disrespect my mother. I swear the next person who says anything about her will get a bullet to the head

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned to see my brothers and friends standing there. Including Alessio

Hasn't he said enough? What the fuck could he possibly want this time?

"Get the fuck out" I said as I stared directly into his eyes.

"Could you listen to me for a second?" He asked

The nerve of this bastard

"Do you want to end up like her?. If you don't then I suggest you walk away right now"

"You heard her, get out" Xander said stiffly

"You really miss her don't you?" Matteo asked with a soft look in his eyes

"More than anything. It should've been me, I'll fuckin kill him" I muttered lowly

"What do you mean by that?" I heard Xavier ask and i stiffened

"Nothing"

Alessio's pov-
Flashback- a few days earlier

I'm currently sitting in my living room when I received a call on my burner phone

"What do you want?" I switched up my voice to sound deeper and more raspy

"I want to offer you a deal" the person on the other side of the phone said

"What deal?" I asked harshly

"Calm down shadow it's about the Italian mafia princess" the person said and I sat up straight

I'm no idiot. I know who the italian princess is, Gabriella. What does this person want with her

"Explain" I ordered

"I need you to assassinate her and send me her head" the voice chuckled

"And what makes you think I would go against the italians?" I asked with a dark chuckle and there was a short pause on the other side

"You just have to"

"And what if I say I won't"

"You have no other option shadow or should I say Alessio" the voice said and I clenched my jaw tightly

How the fuck does this person know my identity?

"You have to do as I say or your mother, I'm afraid she won't have long to live"

"You underestimate me. I'm not someone you can threaten, do your worst but be prepared for the outcome" I said and hung up

I ran a hand around my hair and sighed deeply

What have I gotten myself into with Gabriella?

Should I give this information to the italian mafia or should I handle it myself?

I took out my personal phone and called my brother Raphael

"Yes what is it?" His bored voice said and I rolled my eyes

"Mama" I said and I could hear all movements stop on the other end

"What about mama?" He asked with urgency in his tone

"Someone is targeting mama to get me to murder the italian princess" I explained

As much as I'd love to handle this myself, I know I can't. I will deal with the idiot who called me but I need him to ensure that our mama is safe

"Do not lay a finger on that girl do you understand?" He ordered

"Do you think I intend to?. If that were the case then I'd have already gotten the job done" I snapped

"Then why haven't you?" He asked curiously

"She's my friend and I can't bring myself to do that to her" I said softly. My heart was melting at the mention of her

"Just your friend?" He asked in a teasing manner and I chuckled

"Yes a friend. Now focus, what are we going to do about mama?" I asked

"You don't need to worry about that. No one can touch her as long as I'm alive" he said with certainty

"Thank you" I said in relief

"No need hermano. She's my mother too" he said and I hung up

I felt my stomach rumble and I decided to go to McDonald's to get something to eat

After getting my order, on my way out I saw Gabriella there. I turned away and quickly left

I need to keep my distance from her. They know who I am, they can't ever see us together. I know they're watching me so the only thing to do is to avoid her

Timeskip- Earlier today

I walked into my class and sat down. Then I saw Gabriella walk into the class, I felt her eyes on me but I pretended that I didn't know. I noticed her move to sit with a red haired girl

At least she isn't trying to talk to me. It's better this way, for her safety

The bell rang and I walked out the class. I heard rapid footsteps behind me and i groaned lowly

Fuck me

I quickened my pace but she caught up with me and held my wrist

I turned back with a harsh glare, the only way to stop her from always trying to talk to me is to be mean to her

"What's wrong with you? You seem mad" she asked

"Can you just leave me the fuck alone?!" I said

"What?" She said with a small frown

"I said leave me alone, just get the fuck out!" I yelled and I swear I saw her flinch

"Why the fuck are you yelling at my sister?" Her brother Stephano said through gritted teeth as he and the rest of her brothers emerged from the crowd that had already gathered around

"Well why don't you tell your bitch of a sister to leave me alone!" I snapped back at him. I noticed the look of shock on her face when I said that but I'd rather she hate me than her being dead

"What did you call my sister?" Xander sneered at me anf charged forward. I prepared myself for the hit but it didn't come. I looked up and saw her holding him back

I glared at both of them and walked away

I never once imagined that that stupid girl, whatever her name is would use it to mock her

I shouldn't have yelled at her infront of everyone but she'll hate me now and that's what I'm going for

She'll probably never forgive me but she's too innocent to drag into all this. I bet she doesn't even know that her brothers are the italian mafia
