The dark moon's glow hovered across the eerie night sky in June, at Camp Forsythe.

Alison Tainer smoked a cigarette.

She had long, black hair, blue eyes, and petite.

The roaring campfire burned brightly.

Harry Lowe, her boyfriend, put the radio on.

'Born in the USA', by Bruce Springsteen, was Alison's favorite song.

The album was in the vinyl records part of the cabins; the ten log cabins had been around for five decades, or more. Camp Forsythe was an old military camp since World War II, and later, the Vietnam War.

The Korean War was an up-front in Asia in the early nineteen fifties.

Harry's brown hair was slightly long---but not too long.

'Cut it!', Alison said.

'I will', Harry smiled.

By 6:00 PM, the campers sat at the fire.

The smell of roasted marshmallows on sticks burned.

Hamburgers were cooked as well.

~~~
James Roper, an African American teenager, heard the sound of footsteps.
'Hello'.
He was suddenly tarred and feathered.
'Shit!', he yelled.
Adam Price, the bully of Camp Forsythe, grinned.
He looked at him.
'Pranking Camp', Adam smirked.
And he laughed.
~~~

Alison, Harry, and James, saw Adam.

They decided to get revenge, as he slept in the woods.

He was tarred and feathered.

Adam, in a rage, gripped his knife.

He tripped.

Alison took the weapon away from him.

She knocked him unconscious with a spade.

They dug a large hole...and buried the prankster.

Adam screamed---until he was dead.

~~~
By Midnight, the campers had slept in their bunks.
The sound of footsteps disturbed their thoughts.
Alison, James, and Harry opened the cabin doors.
A shadow of a teenage boy grinned at them.
'Pranking Camp', Adam smirked.
He raised the knife.
He knocked them out...and dragged them into the wet woods.
~~~

The next morning, a Saturday, Roger C. Oliver looked around Camp Forsythe.

'The bodies are gone, Sheriff', he said.

'They have to be somewhere', Sheriff Earl Parker said.

But Alison, Harry, and James Roper, had disappeared.

And so did the bully, Adam Price.
