"What was that?" Meghan asked the principal with a confused look.

"Yeah. As I was saying, these two can't be seen while the first day of school is happening. They'll get so much attention and what not if they're spotted by people who know them. However, I need you wonderful ladies to give them the grand tour of this high school while everyone else is in their classes." Principal Herrera explained to both of the girls.

"I'll definitely help you out Ms. Herrera! It'll be so much more fun than being in classes on the first day." Meghan responded with excitement while America nodded in agreement.

"I knew I could count on you two!" The principal smiled.

Our mom turned to me and Skyler, "Well I guess I'm off then, have fun you two! Text us if you want to come home early. You know your father and I wouldn't mind that!" She winked at us when she said that last part. I totally didn't roll my eyes at her statement.

"Ok mom, love you!" Skyler exclaimed as our mom left the building.

The start of the third period classes rang, and the crowded halls became silent again. I heard Skyler sigh deeply.

"You guys ready?" Principal Herrera asked Skyler and I.

"Yes!" the both of us exclaimed in unison.

Principal Herrera, then, turned to America and Meghan, "Don't worry I've emailed your teachers to tell them the news. They'll catch you up tomorrow."

"Of course!" Meghan smiled, while America gave a thumbs up.

After everyone was ready, Skyler and I followed both America and Meghan out of the main office.

"So, where do we go first?" I asked curiously.

"Let's go through the arts wing first!" Meghan smiled.

"Of course!" I replied with a smile as well.

The four of us headed towards the arts wing. To be honest I was really excited to be at this amazing school. I was, however, really nervous about how everything will be, especially finding all of my classrooms. This school looked really big on the inside and out. We passed by the art rooms, and oh my god! They're so big and pristine!

I hope I can have a class here, I thought to myself.

"We're coming up to the cafeteria so we'll start heading back towards the gym", America stated.

"Ok." I smiled, while Skyler nodded.

Our group made a quick U-turn in the hallway and made our way towards the gym. I looked to my right and I saw the doors to the auditorium. Meghan noticed my curiosity towards the doors.

"You wanna go check out the auditorium?" Meghan asked me with a smile.

"Yes please", I replied while nodding my head.

Our little group of school tourists headed through the big doors of the auditorium. It was so big and really breathtaking as well! I noticed that Skyler was also in awe looking around the auditorium. The four of us went and sat on the edge of the big stage to hangout for a bit. Before anyone could say anything, the bell for the end of the third period rang. It was louder in the auditorium than in the main office for sure because I covered my ears for a second. To be honest, I didn't really like sudden loud noises at all.

"So, you guys are on a hiatus to see how it is to be normal teenagers?" Meghan smirked at us while shifting her sitting position.

"To be honest, yeah." I smiled in response.

"Why is that?" America asked curiously while furrowing her brows a bit.

"Well, I know it sounds cliché, but the both of us really needed a breath of fresh air and breaks from our stressful routines." Skyler responded calmly and with a smile.
