Clary's pov

The doctor and nurses were gone.
I stare at the ground holding my tears.
"Clary look at me." It was Jace. "Clary." He said more smoothly "look at me."
He grabs my chin and are faces are inches apart.
"Everyone can you give us a moment please?" Jace asked.
They nodded and left the room. It was only Jace and me, and apparently our child in my stomach.
"Clary please stop crying." Jace wiped my tears with his sleeve. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
"I.. I was afraid.." I start.
"Afraid of what?"
"That you'd leave me." I said. "That you'd think i was reckless enough to get pregnant." I start sobbing.
He hugs me for a minute then pulls when i calm down.
"Leave you? Reckless?" He says. "Clare it's my fault too, and i have to accept the consequences. I'm here for you, now, and forever. So don't you worry, we'll go through this together."
He won't leave me. He'll stay.
I smile.
"Thank you." I say.
"Oh god. Have you told your parents yet?" He asks.
I shake my head.
"Then we'll do it together."
"Together." I repeat.
"Together." He says. "Always."
I smile and then he kisses me.
A few moments later the door swings open and the others come in.
"Excuse me mommy Fray, but we're the daddy's best friends, may we come in?" Magnus says.
That cracks me up and soon everyone is laughing so hard the nurse had to come and tell us to be quiet.
"So Mommy Fray how you doin?" Alec asked.
I giggle.
"Stop it dude." Jace said, still laughing.
"Woah daddy Herondale don't get mad at me." Alec said.
"So Clary you gonna tell your parents?" Izzy asked.
I nodded. "Jace and I will do it together."
"I bet you 50$ that Luke will shoot Jace." Simon said.
And we all laughed except a terrified looking Jace.
"He wouldn't would he?" Jace asked.
"No!" I cracked up again, but stopped when my stomach started aching.
The nurse came in.
"Mrs.Fray you're good to go home, we just need someone to sigh a few papers." She said.
"I'll do it." Sebastian said. "You stay right there daddy."
I giggled.

Jace and I went to my house.
Apparently he told my parents that we had a sleepover at his house.
"Mom." I said walking through the front door.
Jace held me by the waist. He said he's gonna be there for me in every step i take.
He's adorable.
"Clary is that you?" Jocelyn answered.
"No. it's an ax-murderer that happened to have the keys for the front door."
"Come in. we're in the living room." Like answered.
I looked at Jace and he nodded.
We entered the living room.
"Hey Jace." Jocelyn said.
"Mom. Dad. We need to tell you something."
"It must so damn serious cause you only called me dad on rare occasions." Luke said.
"Go on sweety." Jocelyn said.
"I'm.. Uhh .. I mean.." But before i could continue Jace knelt down infront Luke and Jocelyn. They both got off the couch startled.
"Jace, what are you.." Jocelyn was saying.
"Mr. And Mrs. Fray. I do not believe that i am in position to ask for your forgiveness, but please don't blame it all on Clary, it wasn't her fault." He said.
"Clary what is he talking about." Luke asks.
"Mom. Dad. I'm... I'm pregnant."
The room falls silent.
Jocelyn breaks the silence.
"And when exactly did this happen?"
"A month ago."
"And how long have you known about it ?" Luke asked.
"A month. I'm sorry i haven't told you, it's just, i was embarrassed to confront you all." Tears start streaming down my cheeks. "Even Jace didn't know. He found out only today." Jace stood up and wiped my tears.
"Now what?" I asked.
I was ready to get kicked out.
Jocelyn and Luke exchanged looks.
"What's done is done and cannot be undone." Jocelyn.
"We're here for you Clary." Luke said.
"And we'll help go through with it." Jocelyn continued.
This is it. I officially have the greatest parents in the world.
