Girl Meets Dance

3rd person pov

Makenna was dressed in a black skirt, with with tight under that had hearts on them along with flats. Her hair was down with a black headband in as she was dancing with Farkle and Maya

The music stopped as everyone clapped, "Well, guys, its looks like the night is winding down. We hope you all enjoyed the dance. But before we go, i notice some fathers have arrived to pick up their daughters. I wonder if we might have once last dance. A father daughter dance" Cory spoke into the mic before placing it down

He walked over to the three best friends, Kenna and Riley moved over as he walked over to Maya, "May i please have this dance?" he asked as she smiled a little grabbing his they danced a little before Cory put out both his hands looking at the other two who walked over to him

"Looks like we have a new tradition" Riley said looking at her dad who nodded, "that's okay. Traditions are supposed to evolve. Just like daughters. Sometimes daughter's just need- what was that again, Mr. Friar?"

"A guiding hand that has your best interest at heart." he smiled looking at the four

"There's still a while lot i need you to teach me, dad"

"Thank you, Riley"

"There's still a whole lot i need you to teach me, too"

"Oh! Me next" Makenna smiled, "There is a whole lost i need you to teach me also" she added

"Hey, he's my father" Riley smiled

"Whatever you say" Maya nodded

"You do know that you're my father, right?"

"Yeah, im your father. Thank you, Riley"

"How's that for make-up?"

"Perfect" he smiled before dancing with the three who laughed

"Im sorry we didnt get a chance to dance together, Kenna" Lucas spoke seeing her in the hallways

"Its okay, Lucas, always next year" she laughed a little grabbing her bag

"How about we dance right now?" he asked as the two walked outside

"Right now?" she asked looking up at him as he nodded smiling, he put music on before placing his phone down and putting his hands out

"Can i have this dance?"

"Of course" she smiled placing her hands in his as he spun her around as she laughed a little

"You look pretty" he spoke up as she placed her arms around him, "Thank you, Lucas. Youve made tonight really run" she smiled as it began to sprinkle a little

"How cliché" she smiled at him as he spun her once more before placing his hands on her waist

"Do i get a cliché kiss now" he asked as she laughed kissing his cheek

"Walk me home?"

"Of course"

Dressed in a jean skirt, black convers and a long sleeve shirt Makenna was sitting in the audience watching the school play, Romeo and Juliet.

"Eyes, look your last. Arms, take your last embrace" Romeo, aka Lucas, spoke as he walked in stage going by Juliet aka Riley, Kenna smiled as she noticed one of the knights, Farkle, move closer

"And, lips, oh, you the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss" he added going to "kiss" her when the knight walked over

"Back off" Farkle spoke holding up his flimsy spear

"What meanest thou? Spear carrier.. who havest no lines" Lucas asked standing up and looking at him

"You tried to kiss my woman. This is cannot allow. Prepare to die!"

"Farkle. What are you doing? Its "Romeo and Juliet"

"Well, now it's "Romeo and Juliet and Farkle." I play Farkle."

"Dude, im supposed to kiss the girl. Shakespeare said" Lucas spoke as Farkle turned to the audience

"Who thinks the spear carrier should finally get to kiss Juliet?" He asked as everyone clapped, Makenna and Maya stood up cheering and clapping

"Whooo!" Makenna yelled

"Yeah, you kiss that girl, you crazy spear carrier" Maya smiled

"Hark, Xander! You cometh uppeth here and getteth kissed too" Farkle said pointing at the two as everyone but them clapped

"Thank you, thank you" Maya smiled as the two stood up going on stage

"You're too kind" Makenna added before the two laid next to Riley

"How you doing?" Makenna asked looking at Riley as she looked between the two

"I just dont understand how we end up in situation's like this" she smiled

After the play Riley walked through the hallways as everyone clapped for her, and then Makenna and Maya came through as everyone clapped for the two more as they smiled waving, and kept clapping as Lucas walked through and over to the three girls.

And everyone stopped clapping the second Farkle came through, and then Riley started clapping as everyone hesitantly began to clap for him, "Thank you. Thank you, Farkle nation!" he smiled soaking it all in

"Farkle, Farkle come here" Maya spoke going to walk over to him as Riley stopped her

"Maya, dont. He thinks he was good"

"Yeah, Maya and i will gonna fix that" Makenna said looking at her

"But you cant tell him the truth. You'll crush him"

"Oh, we can tell him the truth" Maya said looking at her

"It's you who cant tell him the truth because you're afraid" Makenna finished

"Im not afraid. Im nice"

"You're saying we arent nice?"

"No. Im afraid to say that"

"Tell him the truth. You know Farkle. You know what will happen of you dont" Maya said looking at her as the three turned to look at Farkle who was giving someone an autograph.

"Farkle. You were so- What are the best words?"

"He killed the play. Those are the words" Makenna sighed smiling, "Those are the only words. You killed the play. Tell him." Maya added as the two looked at Riley

"What? What do they mean?" Farkle asked a little worried

"They mean you killed it, Farkle! Killed it! Showbiz talk" Riley spoke smiling as Farkle looked between the three, "Actually i thought i ruined the play. If you would've told me i ruined the play, i would have believed you. I would have been crushed, but i would've believed you" Farkle rambled as Makenna shook her head

Riley sighed before speaking "How could i crush one of the best actors working in middle school, today?"

"Im a good actor? What if im better than good? What if im the greatest? What if im the greatest actor who ever lived, and i never knew it? That would be sad. Waah! Its okay, its okay. I was acting. Thanks, Riley, my public awaits. Hello, everybody!"

"You cant lie to him, Riley"

"You're gonna break our little Farkle" Makenna added

"Oh, i will not. I didnt do anything. This will all go away" She smiled
