In this new story, Winnie Macfarlan's parents were killed in a fire that burned down her house when she was two. She was sent to an orphanage and lived there until she was 13, which is where this story starts out. Arthur and Eleanor Abernathy graciously take her in, thinking she is going to be a nice, quiet girl, to help Eleanor with the housekeeping. But little do they know, Winnie is a very troublesome and wild
child once they get to know her. A tiny bit based off of Anne of Green Gables.
