now your mood was really ruined. you just went along with your day and spent time with your family.
"ari, why are you so sad? and why isn't walker or xochitl here?" your mom asks you
"because apparently they're so busy they can't hangout with me on my birthday, mom!" you accidentally yell at her. it was really getting to you now.
"i'm sorry. i didn't know that. you don't have to get so mad, ariana."
"i'm sorry, mom. it just really hurts. my best friend and my boyfriend couldn't even cancel their plans for me."
"maybe they're really just that busy? you never know." she tells you and brings you into a hug before you start crying.
