Jade's P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing, I rubbed my eyes and sat up, stretching my arms, I glanced up at the clock "Its 8" I muttered to myself. I had one hour to get ready for my first day at office. I got out of my room to only find Rachel eating bread and Jam. Wait what? I rubbed my eyes with the back of my palm to check whether I'm still in my sleep and seeing things. But no, I can still see my little sister eating. It was the first time in years when she woke up without me splashing water on her face.

That's kind of Sus though (っ ͡ ͡º - ͡ ͡º ς)

As if sensing my presence, she looked at me, her eyes squinting slightly before she speaks "Do I see a statue like my sister in the middle of the hallway?". Confused, I spoke "Huh?" She glances again "Are you planning to spend your day by standing there, Sis? Don't you have an office to go?". She was so elated when I told her that I got the job and adding more to her happiness when I revealed that the CEO of the office turned out to be the café guy, she even declared it that it was our 'Destiny' to meet, making me cringe at the word.

"Indeed, I do have an office to go, but I'm shocked to see you up so early, want to explain?" I said, walking towards her and pulling the chair to sit. "Well J, As Yk day before yesterday was my first day of college and today is some party, so of course who would not like to go early" she said calmly. I knew it, the reason behind this lazy brat waking up early is the party or else by now she would still be sleeping.

Soon after Rachel left, I went to my closet to find the best formal attire for my first day "Found it" I mumbled as I found a grey shirt with a black pencil skirt, I quickly changed into it and tied my hair in a messy bun, with a little compact and mascara. I glanced at my watch"15 minutes are still there" I sighed and left my apartment. The cab was near, so it took 2 minutes to come.

I got out of the Cab taking a quick glance at my appearance on the glass doors and rushed towards the elevator which was about to close "Excuse me! Hold on please. "I yelled. Are there two Elevators cuz, last time I used, it was a grey one, this one is royal black. Thankfully, the person in the Elevator heard it and prevented the doors from closing. I ran into the elevator and huffed. "Thank you so mu-" The words were stuck in my throat as soon as I turned.

"M-M-Mr. Black?" I said "Miss Williams? What are you doing in 'A PRIVATE ELEVATOR'?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. A what? shit how could I not know that I am in the office which would obviously have a separate elevator for the workers and A private one for the CEO. "You're dead Jade, you will surely lose your job on the very first day, God save me" I muttered in my breath "Excuse me?" Guess he heard. I shook my head rapidly "No Sir, I said nothing. Um I came here by mistake, I'll just le-" I turned quicky just to meet the 'now closed doors' of the elevator. "-ave" I trailed off.

I turned back to Mr. Black who was now leaning on the elevator wall with his arms folded, giving me a Questioning look. I took a deep breath and lower my head due to this great embarrassment which I caused myself. "I am really sorry Sir, I didn't know that there was a private elevator- I mean I knew that in every office there is a private elevator but as I was in a hurry and my mind just blacked out and I rushed into your elevator, cause I really didn't wanted to be late  on the very first day of my job-" I glanced at my watch and sighed "-Thankfully, I am not" I completed my reason and waited for Mr. Black to burst out his anger but... nothing happened.
