"Why are you trying to tell us?"

Before I could even procces Rivo's question, Alessandro hit the back of his head.

"What?" Rivo called, matching the glare of his big brother. "I'm not telling her not to do it, alright? It's just a-"

"A great question, actually." I gestured my hand at him, my head slightly spinning from the nonstop pacing.

"Why the hell am I trying to tell you? I don't even know." I furrowed my eyebrows, my voice so much higher than usual.

"Nice job, asshole." Santo mumbled, but I heard it. Everybody did.

"No, I- fuck." Rivo shook his head, and I swear, he looked panicked for a second there. "I didn't mean it like that."

"Yes, I know!" I exclaimed, running a hand through my hair again.
That's exactly the problem.

"I know you didn't mean it like that because you always say whatever you want, no matter how stupid it is. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

Rivo shuffled in his seat, frowning again. "Not exactly, no."

"Im saying that I fucking know you!" I threw my hands up. "I got to know all of you, even though I tried so hard not to."

It was so frustrating.

"I tried to distance myself, to pretend I'm just crashing here for a while." I chuckled, shaking my head and holding one finger up. "But no."

They were all silent, watching me and listening to every frantic word that comes out of my mouth. "I got to fucking know you without even realizing it, and it scares me so much. I mean,"

I glanced at all of them after turning on my heel. "I know Santo pretends to suck at GTA, but he just doesn't want to play because he hates violence. How the fuck are the two of you twins?"

Santo's mouth opened slightly, but no words came out.
He turned to look at Rivo, but I didn't let it stop my ramble.

"Amadeo is the scariest looking guy I've ever met." I threw my hand lazily at his direction, and I didn't miss the amused smile that grew on his face. "But still acts like a giant teddy bear. How is that even work? And let's not forget about Alessandro."

I chuckled humorlessly and slumped down onto the black armchair.
My head was spinning, my feet were hurting, but my thoughts were running too fast.

"Alessandro is only ever nice to the people in this room, and-"

I caught Riccardo rolling his eyes, and it made my stop.
"And you," I pointed at him, narrowing my eyes.
He looked at me, a little bit taken aback by my tone.

"You act like nothing bothers you, but come on." I raised my eyebrow. "I've seen the looks you gave Rivo after he came back here a couple of days ago with a black eye, going on and on about this stupid fight he had with some guys."

Riccardo didn't take his eyes off me, not even when Rivo leaned forward.
"Really?" he asked, surprise all over his face.

"Yes, I listened because I love drama. Sue me." Riccardo shrugged, but when he finally looked at Rivo, he rolled his eyes again.

"Fine." he muttered. "I was a little bit worried about his weak ass, satisfied? Fucking goblin."

Rivo grunted and crossed his arms.

"No, I'm not satisfied!" I called out, rubbing my forehead with my palms. "Because... God. I might have been a little bit worried about his weak ass too."
