Mia's POV
Ah she's spacing out and thinking about Taehyung and her past days again. This girl, whenever she gets time, keeps on reminiscing old days just for fun and keeps that smiling face all the time. I wonder what she'll do when she starts living with him and stays with him all the time. Better make sure she doesn't pass out when she sees him.
"Hey sis, I don't have all day you know. So please try on the dresses and stop thinking about him for the time being okay?" The phone buzzed again right after I finished talking to her.
"Sorry gotta take this."
"I don't see why we're doing this when you're not paying attention to me and giving all the attention to the company." Mina went in the trial room taking the dress the helper had in her hand. I couldn't do anything but nod to her response. She is important but this call is also important. One call costs me hundreds of dollars. I can't let that happen.
"Yes. And Miss Yang please handle all the calls from now. Do not connect me to any calls for the next two hours. Reschedule all of them to tomorrow and just tell them I won't be available today. They can make their requests tomorrow. Thank you."
A long sigh came out of my mouth when I finally got the time to focus on Mina instead of the company calls. She just looks in the mirror trying to make sure the dress doesn't give out any slips or tears.
"What do you think Mia? I'm not sure about the colour." She turns and faces me.
"Ofcourse it's not. Please bring out the same dress in a different colour. Perhaps something more subtle? This colour stands out too much."
The helper walked away after hearing my request. I just don't understand why she needs to buy so many dresses when she can just buy few and wear the ones she already has or wear some of mine.
"Trying out dresses does take a lot of energy and I don't think I have that much energy right now." She dropped on the chair next to the mirror.
"Well, you could just try on a few and pick among them. It's not that much of a deal. Or you can just go through the pictures and the catalogues. That makes the job easier and faster."
I couldn't help but think what dad would say if he was here. He just had to take care of a share holder's meeting.
"Mia stop thinking about that meeting and concentrate here for a change. Try on some dresses for me. You need to look as pretty as possible too. You're gonna be there standing next to me all the time."
She's right. I'll be standing next to her.
"Finee." I whined a bit and took the rose gold dress from the lot and went inside the trial room.
"So what do you think? It suits me, no skin, pretty intact and perfect colour."
I came out of the room seeing myself in the mirror.
"I'd like to buy it, please wrap it up." Mina turned to the helper.
"Well that's a good choice. It looks pretty good. You just found a perfect dress in one shot. Have to say, you still got that talent in you, one glance and you know who will wear what."
"Haha, very funny. Can we please leave? I'm actually exhausted right now and I could definitely use something to eat right now."
I said as I removed the dress and wore my formal attire back. Well it has become an habit now, thanks to dad.
I paid for the dresses and walked to a restaurant near by.
"A table for 2 please."
The waiter nodded and showed us our table. I was going through my schedule for tomorrow until I heard Mina giggle. She's texting Taehyung, I'm pretty sure that's him. She doesn't smile like that unless it's him. That means the meeting is over, keeping her busy won't be a problem now. He's gonna do that work for me.
"Sorry for the wait, here's your food. Bon appetite, ladies." The waiter served us the food as he made his exit.
Not even a single word came out of her from the time we got into the restaurant till we reached home. He kept texting for 2 whole hours. I wonder if he doesn't have any work at this point. She's on a call with him right now, as I'm speaking with my secretary about the meetings I'd have to hold tomorrow. 2 days worth meetings in one day, doesn't sound that bad when compared to that one time she took me out on a date with Taehyung. God they made me feel like the third wheel there and I wasnt even allowed to leave. That was the first and last dinner I had with the both of them alone. I decided that I won't be going with them from the next time.
"Geez, stop texting him already. Its 5pm you know. And plus cut some slack to that poor guy." I couldn't help but say it out.
"You don't know how we feel, get yourself someone then you'll understand why." Mina looked at me in disbelief.
"If I do, I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be like this. Atleast not texting every second of every single day." I rolled my eyes and walked out the room cause I had many missed calls from my secretary. More work, as I thought. I don't have time for having a day off let alone dating. All i can do right now is focus on being a good Director to the company and making sure I can be a good CEO next.
