EPISODE SIX:BODY SHAMING

Start from the beginning

Ava also left.

Ashley also joined us.

Four down, one to go.

"Can I join?" I looked back, and it was someone I haven't met before.

"Hi, I'm Henry Bolton.

Can I join?" he said.

"Why would you want to join a girl's team?

Aren't there boys around?" Ava said.

"I don't remember Mrs. Collins saying boys and girls can't be on the same team," he said.

"Well, he has a point," I said.

"Henry, welcome to the team," Ava said.

"Let's get to work," he said.

CAPRIANA'S POV.

It's Friday, and I've been free from those witches since my friends helped me.

It's nice having them around.

I approached my locker, but you know what they say, nothing lasts forever.

I met them waiting for me by my locker.

I walked over like they didn't exist.

"Move," I said.

"What?" Maya said.

"You heard me right. Get away from my locker," I said fiercely.

"Wait. You think because that towel head helped you the other day you are now human? Don't forget, fatso, you are nothing but a bacteria that will never be considered in the Animalia Kingdom," she said.

Those words were so shattering.

I felt like killing her.

How could she be so mean to me? I'm human too.

I'm just fat.

I cleaned the tears that dripped off my face. "I don't care what you say.

I'm beautiful just the way I am," I said, opening my locker.

"Look, Lucy, she has grown some wings," Maya said.

"Get this done before Monday," Juliet said, handing me their homework.

"I'm not going to do them," I said.

"Because of some terrorist, you think you can talk to me anyhow," Lucy said.

I held her arm and twisted it backward.

I hit her face on my locker.

"She is not a terrorist.

She is one million times better than you will ever be," I said and let go of her hand.

"Do them yourself," I said, flinging the papers on their faces.

"How dare you touch me, you bacteria," Lucy said.

"Call me that one more time, and I'll infest you with my disease," I said.

She went away with her friend.

"Go to hell," she said, walking away.

"Why would I want to come to your home?" I said.

I felt very proud of myself as a sigh escaped my lips.

AVA'S POV.

Hadizah and I've been practicing science questions, but we were stuck on some topics.

"I heard your brother is brilliant, and he is so in the science department.

Can't he teach us?" she said.

"I would never ask my brother for help even if it means the end of the world.

I'm not going to ask him to teach me.

No way," I said.

"Why isn't he your brother? Passing the exams and being obstinate, which is more important?" she asked.

"Definitely being stubborn," I said mockingly.

"Stop it. I'm serious," she said.

"I don't want my brother to think highly of himself," "Okay, so he is not an option," I said.

"Your brother doesn't look like one to brag," she said.

"Trust me, he is way worse than he looks," I said.

"Really? I don't believe you," she said. "Oh, so now you are captain of the disbelief.

You broke my heart right on the spot," I said, laughing.

"It's not funny, okay," she said. But I kept on laughing.

Then it turned out that she was serious, so I stopped laughing.

"Okay, fine. I'll try to talk to him," I said.

"Thank you so much," she said.

AVERY'S POV.

I was in my quiet spot trying to get my books in my head when Dahlia came.

"What do you want?" I said, removing my earpods.

"Nothing," she said.

"I was busy before you came, so could you do the honors? The exit door is that way," I said.

"I'm not disturbing you because technically I didn't even move near you," she said.

"Fine, suit yourself," I said.

A message popped into my phone. It was Felix, to remind me of tonight's party.

I texted him back and dropped my phone. "So, the rumors are true," she said.

"What rumors?" I said curiously.

"The rumors about you dating a junior who goes by the name Ava," she said.

I couldn't help myself.

I burst into uncontrollable laughter. "What's so funny, Avery?" she asked.

"So you thought I was dating my sister Ava? Trust me, if I wasn't her brother, she wouldn't even look at me twice," I said, still laughing.

"But I thought..." "I'll get Violet for this," she said.

"By the way, what is your deal with whom I'm dating?" I asked.

"Mind your own business," she said, and she left.

I always knew that Dahlia had a huge crush on me, but I pretend as if I'm unaware.

WRITER'S NOTE :
This chapter is for my plus size readers.
I was once a victim of bodyshaming when I was age twelve, I used to be very chubby I was like the biggest girl in my class big cheeks and everything. But guess what now I'm as thin as whatever you can call it, now I have cousins telling me I look like a maid, some are telling I better go to a hospital.
What I'm trying to say is that no matter what you are or who you are people will never be one hundred percent OK with you, so just live your life and accept the body you have been given by God he knows what is best for you.
