Max: Chloe...you're alive. Yes, so is my sister, thank god!
Max hugs Chloe and isadora
Isadora: woah, whats this all about max
Max: I'm just...I'm just--I'm so glad you're here!
Chloe: You sound high, but thanks for the morning grope. Since we were up all night playing "CSI: Arcadia Bay," I was still spaced out here, trying to put all this info together. (Max sits down on the edge of Chloe's bed next to isadora)
Isadora: Max, did you forget we've gone over this? I hope you weren't messing around with time while we were sleeping...
Max: Not anymore. I'm just spaced out, too.
Max (thinking): Welcome back to the real world, Max... I don't think I can ever tell Chloe about what happened.
Max gets up.
Max: Let's look at the big board and see all our pieces in the puzzle so far.
Max and isadora Examine the board together
Max: So close, yet so far away... We have to do three main things.
Chloe: Right...uh, what things?
Max: One, decipher Frank's logbook.
Isadora: Two, get Nathan's phone to find out where he's been during the Vortex Club parties with Kate and Rachel. And see whatever hidden shit he's got in his messages.
Chloe: Three, beat step-douche down until he tells us about Frank, Nathan, and the "Dark Room."
Chloe: And I do have a gun now...
Max: Keep it in your pants.
Max: We'll have to do this on our own.
Chloe: Dude, at least let me kick his ass, then rewind--Fine, whatevs, it's your power.
Max: Which I can't waste on shit like that. Or Blackwell would be in big trouble.
Chloe: At least you let me take that money to pay Frank off. Max: Don't remind me. I just want him off your back. You should get busy in the garage to see what dirt you can dig up. I'm going to cyberstalk some names and see where that leads...or to who. Oh and be careful of step-crack. He's not going to be a happy camper after you reamed him yesterday, and Mom is giving him the boot...
Max: I'm on it, partner.
Max (thinking): I can't abuse this level of my rewind power... It's way too dangerous, and I need to navigate the present without messing up the past...
Max leaves Chloe's room
Chloe: just me and you again cutie.
Isadora: i wanna kiss your lips before she comes back
Chloe: we will, but first i need to tell you something, you know stepdouche, he has a daughter, and she is going to be visiting next month, as she is on break from private school, well that's the last i heard i have no idea if she is still there now or not, but she has a boyfriend, who is also coming down.
Isadora: i had no idea david had a daughter, is she nice
Chloe: I've only meet her like once or twice, but she is nice, every holiday she would come down here but i wasn't in the house much as i didn't like my mother dating him, so i spent most of my time at Rachel's house.
