Stuck in a video game [Reader Insert]

Chapter 1

You come home from school and check your email on your computer. You see an email in your inbox. "NEW GAME PROMISES IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE!" You click on the email and read on. The email was from Gamespot. Regardless of if you were subscribed to them or not, the email was still strange. Why would Gamespot email you with that being the only topic? Gamespot does weekly emails with the news of the week, not emailing with only one topic. "The new game, Yggdra Offline, promises an immersive experience! Get it at your local video game store!""Why is its name 'Yggdra Offline'?" You thought.

You decided to get it anyways. You had nothing to do this Friday anyways. Your friend had promised to buy you something fr your birthday, so now was the perfect time to use their generosity to your advantage. You pick up your phone and dialed their number.

"Hey" You say. "Remember how you promised to buy me something for my birthday?"

"So you finally figured out what you want?"

"Yeah," You say. "I want that new game, Yggdra Offline. Have you heard of it?"

"Yeah," Your friend says. "I'm probably gonna buy it for myself too." "Cool," You say. "We can talk about our adventures. If the game's as immersive as the posters promise." "See you there." Your friend says as they hang up the phone.
