Chapter 27: Finding Strings

Izu:"Please let both be alright. I'll do anything."

After three hours. The room goes silent until a child cries ring out. Causing Izuku to breath a sigh of relief.

Izu:"Thank goodness they're-"

Mag:"Stay with Me my lady!"

Izuku's stress comes back. So he bursts into the room. Only to see a lot of blood poor8ng onto the floor.

Uru:"How's the baby izuku?"

As the doctor gives the baby to izuku. He runs to her side so that she may see it.

Izu:"It's a healthy baby boy. You did amazing hun."

Her face begins to turn a ghostly white.

Mag:"Can you stop the bleeding?"

Doc:"I'm afraid not."

Izuku looks back in horror and sarrow. So ururaka places a hand on his cheek to turn his gaze.

Uru:"Even though this was only a marriage for benefits. I found love in you. Promise me you won't let our son feel what it's like to grow a cold heart. Let him feel the love equivalent of two parents."

Izu:"You have my word."

With a smile. Ururaka's hand falls, and her eyes close. Leaving izuku to cry over her with child in hand.

A few more days pass, and news breaks that the emperor is returning with his son.

As bakugou prepares security. They get a visitor at the gate.

Shinsou:"Let me speak to captain bakugou!"

Bakugou walks up to the gate.

Baku:"What's with the commotion?"

Shin:"It's my little sister. That monster has her at the coliseum. He says he'll only fight you, and should you refuse. He'll kill her in front of the crowd."

Baku:"So they make their move. Fine. I'll show the people what the best warrior of the emperor can do."

Mic:"Are you sure? It could be a trap."

Meanwhile, shoto is covered in wounds. Yet today is his lucky day. The scalpel is within reach. So he begins to cut himself free.

Sho:^I've got to warn them about Touya's plan before it's too late.^

Shoto soon escapes and starts to run towards the palace with tattered clothes and no sandals on. He starts the ten mile journey back.

By the time he gets there. Bakugou is already at the coliseum.

Sho:"Mic!"

Mic looks to where he hears the voice.

Mic:"Where have you been- holy shit."

Sho:"I'll explain later. Where's bakugou?"

Mic:"He left to fight."

Sho:"That damn battle hungry idiot. He should've went to the dock."

Mic:"What's going on?"

Sho:"Touya has put everything in his favor. Now midoriya has no skilled guards that can stop him."

Mic:"What about mirio and tamaki?"

Sho:"He knows about our weakness. That we'll shield the emperor. Which is why he's using poisoned arrows."

Mic:"I'll send a message to him. Telling the ship not to dock."

As mic turns around. Shoto collapses. That's when Mic sees the blood footprints on the stone.

Mic:"WE NEED NEZU NOW!"

As guards carry shoto inside. Bakugou walks in the arena and sees sero and other bodies lining the ground.

Gigantomakia:"There you are."

The giant sets the eri down. As she runs towards shinsou. The big guy swings his fist and throws her into the wall.

Shin:"ERI!!!"

Bakugou stops sh8nsou from going to her side.

Baku:"Let me give you an opening. That way, you can get her to safety."

Bakugou moves in and gets in position for combat. As the crowd cheers.

Baku:^Out of all the days. Why today are they attacking, and in public no less?^

Makia:"It's ashame you came to fight me. Now master won't get the fight he's been wanting. At least he'll become emperor now."

Baku:"Shit. He's going for deku."^I'd better end this quickly then.^

As bakugou charges with spear in hand. Elsewhere, izuku's ship has already started to dock. That's when they see a huge fight break out. Civilians fighting Dabi's men to assist in izuku's safety.

Mirio:"Get inside the ship, and don't come out until we give the okay."

Mirio and tamaki stans on the deck to fight off intruders that come aboard. While izuku sits behind barrels with a swaddle in his arms.

Izu:"Shh, everything is gonna be alright."
