Sora's pov

" Are you going to eat that or not?" Jihoon said looking at me and then the melon bread. I shaked my head in Denial.
" You know it's seungcheol's favourite" i said not even realising that i promise myself I won't think or talk about him.
" So when are you confessing?" He asked catching Me off gaurd.
" Never" i said as I got up from the sofa and picked up my laptop.
I don't know when and how but jihoon figured out i liked seungcheol but i told him that i won't anymore. I don't care for the reason he went away. I haven't seen the Texts he sent me or picked his call.its been 6 months and I am doing good i guess.
I walked into my room and placed my laptop on the desk.

After a long day at work, the co-workers decided on a karoke night so here we were sitting in the karaoke bar singing.
" Noona are you okay?" One of the interns asked smiling. He is cute.
Not cuter than seungcheol, stop it sora you promised yourself.
" I am okay, I'll just step outside for a minute" i said as i got up and walked out. As I was walking i bumped into someone and lost my balance.
The person who bumped into me held me by my waist. The moment my eyes fell onto the person my world stopped.
" It's been a long time" he said, his voice still as sweet as i remember. I quickly gained my composure and took a few steps away.
" Yes it been a long time" i said quitely trying to avoid eye contact.
" What's with the awkward greetings?" He asked smiling. I look up to see him looking straight at my lips. My lips? Is there something on them? I quickly wiped my lips just in case.
" You haven't been replying to my texts or picking my calls?" He asked his voice had a hint of sadness in it.
" I've been busy" i said looking at him while he leaned on the Wall.
" Busy enough to come to karoke bar?" He said smirking.
" Just a small celebration for a project success" i said clearing my throat.
" What are you doing here?" I asked
" Just came along with few friends from college " he replied
As he was about to say something, the intern called me out.
" Noona, you phone was ringing" he said as he walked to me and stood in front of me and seungcheol in a protecting manner which made seungcheol smirk in my direction.
" Jinwo I am okay, you can go inside I'll be back in a minute " i said, he nodded and left.
" Got yourself a boyfriend in few months?" Seungcheol said smiling.
" He is not my boyfriend " i said clearing the air, unlike someone else.
" He acted like one" he replied.
" At least someone did " i said back, I have never acted this cold to him before . He looked at me in a sad manner.
" I'll see you around Sora" he said walking away and i just nodded.

When did he even come back? When was Jeonghan oppa going to tell me?i know i told everyone i don't want to know but that doesn't mean they can't at least inform. I just sighed and went back to the room.

After a few hours we all went out and some were deciding on second round and some were going home and I was in the latter.
" Noona I'll take you home" jinwo said smiling but my eyes fell behind him when I saw seungcheol leaning on his car looking at me
" Don't worry I'll take care of that" he said making jinwo look at him glaring.
" Who are you?" He asked in a threatening tone.
" Her oppa" he said mimicking his tone. I sighed to myself. Why is seungcheol acting this way?
" Jinwo it's okay you get home safely" i said as i patted his back and got into seungcheol's car.

He started driving, " since when did you become so cocky?"i asked as nicely as i could. He shrugged and smiled. I just kept looking out the window and i could feel his gaze on me from time to time.
He dropped me home and i got inside.
I immediately went to Jeonghan's room.
I grabbed a pillow from his bed and hit him with it gently.
" Who was going to tell me that seungchoel oppa is back?" I said and didn't even let him finish, just went straight to my room and took out the plushie he gave me from under the bed. I shoved it there after he left to not remember him. But here he was back. Back into my life when i just got used to his absence.

" Sora can you take this to seungcheol's academy" Jeonghan said giving me a pendrive. I quickly refused.
" Sora, you are going near that anyways can't you just drop it there" he said again and i refused.
" Fine then I'll tell mum and dad about your thing with that airport guy" he said as my eyes grew wide.
" Fine fine" i said as i took the pendrive out of his hands and shoved it into my pocket.
I started walking towards the academy. When i reached I saw seungcheol talking to someone. He looked at me and finished his conversation and came running to me.
" What brings you here?" He asked
I quickly handed him the pendrive and started walking away.
" Sora wait" i didn't listen and just kept walking.

I walked into a bar and ordered a few drinks. One drink after another,then another and then another.

Seungcheol's pov

My phone rang,i took it out of my pocket to see Sora calling. I happily answered the call.
" Hello, sir are you a friend of hers?" Some women Said on the other line instead of Sora making me anxious.is she okay?
" Yes what is it?" I said
" Sir she seems to be pretty drunk , i think you should come pick her up" the moment those words came out of her mouth i jumped from my chair and started running towards the address of the bar.

The moment i walked in I saw her sitting there, her head buried in her hands. Even in this situation,she looks breathtaking. How come it took me 6 months away from her to realise that?
I rushed over to her and she smiled as soon as she saw me. I took her phone and put it in my pocket. I slowly helped her get out of the chair and put her arm around my shoulder.

We walked out of the bar and i just realised that in concern I came without my car.
" Oppa I can't walk" she said in a drunk voice.
" Ok get on my back" i said kneeling down, but she started crying.
I looked at her with a softened expression.
" What happened?" I asked lifting her chin up to see me.
" You just treat me like a kid " she said and started whining. Adorable.
" I won't do that I promise " i said and she looked up at me softly. God she is beautiful.
" Promise " she said and lifted her Pinky finger, i chuckled slightly and made a promise.
I lifted her on my back and started walking to the main road to find a taxi.
" Oppa can I tell you a secret " she said sweetly in my ear. She'll probably be embarrassed tomorrow.
" Yes " i replied
" You see i like this guy very much,no no i think i love him but he doesn't like me back. I think he likes someone else " she said sobbing making me stop in my tracks. She already likes someone. Not even like she said love. My heart felt a tug and i kept walking.
" Why do you like a jerk Like that" i asked heartbroken even before i confess.
" I can't help it plus he is not a jerk. He is the most sweetest guy i know" she said breaking my heart more.
" Can't I be the one you like?"I asked but i could hear her tiny snores on my shoulder.

After getting a taxi i dropped her home and went back to my apartment.
I dropped the keys on the coffee table and sighed.
Can't I be the one she likes?,

(Epilogue)

Seungcheol was standing there looking sweetly at Sora, who was busy talking with Joshua and Minji . She looked absolutely beautiful . He knows he likes her but it isn't easy to admit it to her, what if she sees him just as her big brother?
Suddenly his phone rang and picked it up to see Nara calling him
" Hello" he said
" Seungchoel i am waiting for you in the parking lot can you come here" she said
" Nara i am done with you" he said as his eyes kept going towards Sora.
" My father passed away" she said making seungcheol look at Sora one last time before walking out.
He saw her crying so he comforted her , his eyes fell onto Sora who was watching them. A guilt built in his heart
"I don't deserve a person like you yet sora but I'll become worthy for you " he thought to himself.
