Sora's pov

" Oppa please just this once okay" i said joining my hands together and begging Jeonghan to go to the convenience store with me.
" It's not like you are a child or someone sora, shouldn't you be doing these things alone?" He said typing on his computer. I know he has work but I can't go alone because the guy at the store likes me and he keeps on hinting that he does and I don't know how to reject him without hurting him.
" Can't you see your oppa is working?" He said pointing at himself. I scoffed
" Working my ass, you must be playing games" i said as i smacked his shoulder and ran for my life. I could hear him cuss at me from the room. I laughed to myself and just took my purse to go alone.
I suddenly hear the Bell and quickly go to open the door to see seungchoel.
I am seeing a lot of him these days .

" Oppa what are you doing here?" I asked leaning on the door
" Came to get my clothes and gave jeonghan's  back" he said lifting a bag that he had in his hand. I smiled and told him to come in.
" No no I'll just take the clothes i have to go to the academy.  I lots of Work to do" he said. I nodded and took the bag from his hand and quickly got the bag with his clothes in to him.
" Here" i said handing the bag to him.
" Where you off to ?" He asked pointing to my purse.
" Just the convenience store" i said
" Oh I'll walk with you then. I walked here anyway" he said. I  smiled and followed him out.

" Why do you look like you are going on a war?" He suddenly asked as he put arm around my shoulder and gently put me on the inner side of the road.
" It's nothing, i just wanted Jeonghan oppa to come along but he was busy so i am just bit sad. I don't get to spend much time with him since we got jobs" i said with a hint of sadness in my tone.
" That's true.why don't you plan something out with him on the weekend or something" he suggested making me smile.
" Yeah that sounds nice I'll think of something" i replied.
" I think that's not the only thing you are concerned about" he said again making me try to think of an excuse.
" It's nothing just the guy at the store likes me" i said looking at him trying to get a reaction out of him but there was nothing. Hope sure is a dangerous thing.
" So what's the problem?" He asked with a small chuckle. The problem is that the one who likes me isn't you.
" It's just that i am not ready to date and all but i also don't like rejecting people so it can hurt his feelings " is said playing with the hem of my skirt.
" You can always nicely tell someone that you are not interested " he said walking with one hand in his pocket while the other was holding the bag.
I stopped in my tracks and got curious.
" How do you know, have you rejected a lot of people?" I asked running up to him. He chuckled slightly and shaked his head.
" Maybe" he said with a smirk. I kept my head down as another question popped in my head.
" Do you like someone?" I asked immediately regretting it.
" Not anyone at the moment" he replied looking at me,i nodded.
" When you do like someone by any chance, can you let me know first?" I said. I don't know why and where i found the courage to ask that but I did. He laughed making my stomach do flips.
" Okay I will" he said ruffling my hair.
We reached the store and he stood there.
" Okay then I'll see you around " he said as he started walking away and all i could do was watch him walk away.
Suddenly he turned around and smiled
" Sora you can always tell the person you are not interested in that you are not ready yet, it would hurt them more if you lead them on for nothing" he said as he walked and disappeared from my sight.
You are right seungchoel,it hurts me more that you are not letting me know what you want from me. But i think it would hurt me more if you told me you aren't interested in me. So it's better than that in my place at least.

I walked in the store and got myself some of the ramen I was craving. I walked to the counter and there he was smiling at me. I smiled back.
" Hi Sora" he said
" Hi Minho" i replied.
" It will be 400won" he said. I handed him the cash. As I was about to leave he called me out.
" Sora if you are free this weekend, can I take you out on a date?" He asked sweetly, I took a deep breath in.
" Minho i really appreciate it but i already like someone else, i hope you and me can hang out sometimes as good friends?" I asked hoping i didn't hurt his feelings. It took him a minute to look at me again with a small
" It's okay Sora thanks for letting me know atleast. Sure I would love to hangout sometime" he said,i smiled and left the store.

I got home and started cooking the ramen. It looks delicious. I took the pot and placed it on the kitchen island and settled down on the chair and started eating when Jeonghan came and took the chopsticks out of my hand and started eating.
" Oppa get your own" i said fake crying and hitting him on the arms.
He still took a bite anyway, so annoying he is.
" It's hot" he said now with a burning tounge as I laughed.
" Serves you right theif" I said grinning and taking back the chopsticks.
" Sit down I'll give you chopsticks and a bowl" i said as i grabbed them and handed it out to him.
We both are eating quietly when Jeonghan got a call.

" Hello" he said making me look at him.
" Really? When are you leaving?"he asked as my curiosity peaked.
" Okay okay I'll drop you to the airport tomorrow morning, okay see you bye" he said and cut the call. I looked at him waiting for him to tell me.
" What?" He said as i pointed to his phone. He looked at me with an absurd look.
" Do you have to know everything?"he said and i nodded aggressively.
He sighed and looked at as he placed his chopsticks down on the counter.
" It was seungchoel, he is going to daegu for few days " he said as I felt my stomach turn into knots.
" Why?" I asked placing my chopsticks down too.
" It's his mom,she is a bit sick" he said in a sad tone making me worried for how seungchoel is doing.
" I'll also come with you tomorrow to drop him at the airport" i said as i picked up the dishes and placed it in the sink. He nodded and went back to his room. After washing the dishes, i went to my room and debated if I should text him or not. After few minutes of war in my head i gave up, I'll see him Tomorrow anyway I'll ask him then.

I got ready quickly and got settled in the car next morning and waited outside seungchoel's apartment. He walked out with tired eyes and put his small bag in the trunk and got in the car.
Jeonghan started driving and i slowly looked back at him, he looked so worn out. He suddenly looked at me and gave me a weak smile, i mirrored his smile and turned around giving him space.
We reached the airport and Jeonghan oppa went to check the flight details as me and seungchoel stood their awkwardly.
" Are you okay?" I asked placing my hand on his arm, he looked at me and just smiled.
I hope his mom gets better. After few minutes he went inside to board the plane as me and Jeonghan stood outside.
He turned around one last time and gave a small nod. My heart breaks to see him like this.

(Epilogue)

Sora stood outside the school thinking deeply about something when a shadow covered her. She turned around to see seungchoel smiling.
" What is making you think so deeply outside here in this hot weather?" He asked as he looked at her with a questioning face. Sora looked at him shyly
" A guy has a crush on me" she said hoping it would affect him in some way but there was no expression on his face.
" So what's the problem?" He asked laughing lightly
The problem is
'Someone likes me but it's not you'
