"Should've thought of that before throwing snow at my head" you sneer. Niki allows a pout to form on his face, his expression turns sad as he wraps his arms around your leg

"I threw snow at you because I was sad! Christmas is tomorrow and you said we could spend together today!" Niki whines. That's right, Niki, your oh so lovely boyfriend.

"I know I know, but that was no reason for you to throw snow at me okay! My heart almost jumped out of my chest" you say, patting the male's head. Niki's lips turn up into a smirk

"Why? did your heart jump for me?" Niki teases. You squint at the boy, his response was cringy.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night Riki" you sigh.

2 hours later —————

The festival now officially began, families were filling the school campus as many people slowly crowded the entryway.

"Y/N!! Could we pleaseee get something to eat now~" 

Niki had his hand intertwined with yours as he was swinging the paired arms around. After the fiasco earlier, Niki decided he'd just stick with you and watch you do your duties as he tried to become a pretend bodyguard. Though, most of the time it was him just staring at the food booths. You looked over your to-do list on your clipboard, double checking things as you allowed Niki to fiddle with your fingers, you had to make sure everything was completed before going off to have fun.

"Hey Y/N, is there anything else you have to do?"

Sunoo, the student council secretary, had come up to you and Niki. Sunoo noticed Niki's distress and knew he wanted some alone time with you, so he came up with the idea to take over whatever you still had to prepare for the festival so you could go and fulfill the wishes Niki had in mind

"I think I forgot to tell Heeseung to make sure the gym lights were ready for the performances later, and then theres also the hand out papers about the spring festival I told Jungwon to take care of, maybe I could help him with that, that way it's not a big load for him, and I think there's also-"

Sunoo quickly snatches your clipboard away, you were caught off guard from the action, your eyebrows shooting up in surprise

"H..Hey..You know what Y/N, I'll take care of this, you and Niki have fun okay? I'm pretty sure the boy could use it" Sunoo awkwardly smiles as he hides the clipboard behind him. Niki smiles at Sunoo's suggestion, he looks at you with glee as sparkles cover his eyes

"Sunoo-hyung's right! You should come have fun with me!" Niki exclaims. You give an uneasy expression as you looked at Sunoo

"There's still a lot to do though! I don't want to give Sunoo all these tasks and he ends up not being able to complete it, plus I want Sunoo to have fun too! Its a big thing we all planned and-"

"Y/N! it's okay, I had plenty of fun for the day, I can handle the work for an hour or 2, stop worrying about school and hang out with your boyfriend before he explodes" Sunoo says, well demands.

You give a look of worry towards the boy, you glance between him and Niki before sighing deeply

"Alright then...but if you need anything, call me right away okay?" you say

"I doubt I will, but stop worrying! go!" Sunoo smiles. You give a smile in return, a thankful expression all around your face, you give a bow to the male before walking off with Niki, your hand intertwined with his

"Soooo, what should we do first" you question, Niki was silent beside you as he swung your guys' hands together, he had a huge grin on his face but tried to not make it as obvious.
