"That boy used to be dark, right?" Jeongyeon asked as she watched Nayeon's son run around the playground
"He was just into swimming and playing under the sun but he has white skin" Jihyo explained
"Nayeon unnie don't share his photos online, you must have missed that" Somi
"And why is his name Huening?" Jeongyeon
"That's just his pen name. His legal name is Kai" Jihyo
"That sounds better" Jeongyeon
"HELLO EVERYONE!" The cub shouted
Their attention shifted to Chaeyoung and Mina, who had just arrived at the party. Nayeon smiled and welcomed the two with a hug.
It was Nayeon's son's 8th birthday. They were normally outside Korea due to Nayeon's work, but this time, Nayeon decided to celebrate his birthday in their home country. The party was held in the backyard of Nayeon's parents' house.
"Why?" Lisa asked when she looked back and saw Jeongyeon's curved forehead
"Tsk" Jeongyeon made a clicking sound, she didn't bother to look at Lisa "He looks like someone I know from decades ago"
"Who?" Lisa asked in curiosity
Jeongyeon looks in Chaeyoung's direction "He looks like Chaeyoung when she was a toddler"
Lisa chuckles "That's an eight years old kid, yet you think he looks like toddler Chaeyoung?"
Jeongyeon faced Lisa "Do you know that something happened between Chaeyoung and Nayeon unnie?" she suddenly asked
Lisa's brows furrowed "There is?"
Jeongyeon nodded twice "Uhuh, Chaeyoung told me"
It was a good thing that they were nowhere near anyone, or else someone would hear them.
"I didn't know Chaeyoung when she was a child and didn't know what she looked like when she was a toddler... But if you say so" Lisa's eyes wide, she then looked back and forth at the child and to Chaeyoung "Are you saying-"
"I may have a memory of a goldfish but you're as slow as a turtle" Jeongyeon
Lisa panicked "Do you think- Mina knew?"
"I don't think so" Jeongyeon replied
"But she and Nayeon unnie see each other often abroad, right? Don't you think she has a clue?" Lisa
