A week had passed since I had talked to the Bellingham brothers. Jude tried calling me but I ignored all his texts and calls.

I focused all my energy on school. Peyton and I grew closer, she even started hanging out with Rosie and I.

After a long day of school, I got a text from Jude asking to meet up, I was going to ignore the text but then he sent another one telling me that it was important.

So here I was, sitting on the butterfly painted bench in the park with Jude.

"How have you been" he asked trying to diffuse the awkwardness

"You clearly didn't ask me to meet up with you because you wanna check up on me right?" I deadpanned

"You're right...I just wanted to tell you that I'm leaving for Madrid the day after tomorrow" he said

I tried to hide my shocked expression but I it didn't work because my eyes gave it away.

"Have a safe trip then" I said and looked away trying to hide the tears that threatened to spill.

Only in that moment did I realise how much I'd miss Jude and how my crush on Jobe was just a thing of the moment. I could feel Jude's eyes on me so I kept looking away.

"Are you okay" he asked

"I'm fine", I said still looking away

"You don't look fine" he said

"Then stop looking" I said

Then he took my face into his hands and turned to it to look at him. My tears I was hiding betrayed me and started flowing. Jude didn't say anything and just hugged me.

After embarrassing myself by crying, me and Jude were still hugging.

"Who knew that Dahlia over here is a crybaby? Wonders never cease" Jude said grinning

"Shut up" I said while smiling

"Are you gonna miss me that much" he asked

"No, I'm just so happy that I'll finally have some peace" I jokingly said

"Well I'm gonna miss you" he said and hugged me tighter

"I'm gonna miss you too" I whispered into his chest

"My mom was wondering if you'd be able to make it for dinner tomorrow" he said after a while

"Tell your mom I'd love to come" I said

We parted ways after talking for hours.

My eyes were still puffy when I got to the dorms. Rosie was coming out of her room when she saw me...

"What is going on? Why do your eyes look like mini baseballs" she asked her eyes full of worry

"I went to the flower garden across the road and my pollen allergy got triggered" I lied

"Why would go there if you are allergic, silly" she asked her face relaxing

"The flowers just looked so beautiful" I said and laughed

"Well, I've got to dash. See you tomorrow then" she said

"Bye then" I said and got into my room.

I spent the night thinking about Jude. I really liked him, sure he is a bit arrogant, weird and awkward but he is also funny, kind and not to mention smoking hot and that is what makes him Jude.

I liked Jude and for the first time, the feeling didn't come and go.
