          It makes me worry. Kung tama ang konklusyon ko tungkol sa nagaganap, kung makikita rin ni Destroia ang anggulong nakikita ko, then we bust it. This is a big catch in all honesty.

                 “From the looks of it, you caught the District Thirteen candidate.”

            I gave Xanara a weird look. “Really? I did?”

                 “Yes, this is him.” Nilapag niya ang picture na nakunan ko at tinuro yung lalaking naka-suit at leader nila. “He is Billy Howard, a lawyer and an influential figure. Compared to the thirteen candidates, all that he did in the past years has all been out in the media. And mind you, they are plenty.”

                 “Like what?”

                 “There’s a lot in different aspects. Sa nature, he probably had stopped of about a couple of twenty or more illegal mining transactions. He gave shelter to many of the poor people without own homes. He also had—”

                 “Alright I don’t have all day listening to what he has done because I’m not interested.” I said cutting her off. “What do you think first with the conclusion? It’s possible, ain’t it?”

            Xanara stared at me, reclining her swivel. Mukha siyang nag-iisip pero sa akin siya nakatingin. Okay I know this is bad that I’m reporting to her and not to Savier pero dead battery na’ko. Hindi ko na sila matawagan and really, this is urgent. I need to uncover what’s behind this gambling and surrendering the money to a candidate. Nacu-curious ako.

            I gave Xanara a confused look. “Excuse me?”

                 “I’m letting you gamble for tonight. Tell me how much do you need. Tell you what, Harcourt. Kailangan mo siyang i-bankcrupt. If it’s even possible, I need you to make sure na lalabas si Nuggat na walang panalo at walang matitira sa mga dala niya sa gabing ‘yon. Kung tama ang konklusyon mo sa nangyayari, sigurado akong may mga magsu-supervise ng galaw niya sa casino at sa labas. There were history of Nuggat losing a half a million and the person who wins it gets ambushed. If it happened, we’ll get evidences. You just need to strengthen our theory.”
