Alyssa's P.O.V
"So what do you guys think about the new kid?" Jack asked as he sat down at the lunch Table
"Can you please stop talking about him" I say,rolling my eyes and taking a fry.
"Um, being a new kid and then becoming popular on your first day isn't common here
you know"said Marie,whose attention is now back to the new kid.
She has a point. It's not normal for a new kid to become popular on the first day.
Especially here. It would take months, or years to become popular here at school.
"Do you guys even know his name? Like we can't always call him "The New Kid"I
say,looking at him.
"I thought you didn't want to talk about him"Jack said,smirking.
"You and I both know I lost that argument so shut up"I say glaring at him.
"Both of you shut up, you're giving me a headache"Marie said,giving us
all her attention now.
"Whatever"I mumble.
After what seemed like years,the bell rang. I got up to throw my garbage. I turned
around and bumped into someone.
"What the fuck?" Said the guy I bumped into.
He turned around and I realized it was the new kid.
"Oh-I'm so sorry" I said looking down.
"We need to talk after school"
"Okay?"
Well, that was random. I walked back to Marie and said
"Let's go to the washroom"
"Sure?" She said while I grabbed her arm and walked to the washroom.
I then blabbed about what happened.
I stopped talking and thought for a second
Why does he want to talk to me?
Why me?
"I don't know" Marie said, while looking at herself in the mirror.
Shit did I say that out loud?
"Um, yeah" said Marie, looking at me.
"I honestly don't know why you're freaking out, like the boy just wants to talk to you.I mean what bad thing could possibly happen?"she continued while walking out
the washroom.
"What bad thing could possible happen?" I mocked her.
"He could be a murdered" I say, looking at her.
"He's not a murdered okay. Just shut up,you're being annoying" she said,
walking into class.

"Whatever" I say,sitting down.
