My mom and I just nodded in agreement because we knew what fans were like out in the real world. The vice principal's jaw fell to the floor as his response to Skyler. The principal, my mom, and the receptionist started laughing at him for his cluelessness.

"Where have you been Lewis? Under a rock?" Principal Herrera chuckled.

"To be honest, yeah kind of." The assistant principal responded with embarrassment while scratching the back of his head.

"Ok, back to the topic at hand", Principal Herrera stated with a slight stern tone in her voice.

"Yes." Our mom agreed with the principal.

"We need these two wonderful stars to have a low profile around this school, I know that we don't need everyone here to become the paparazzi" Principal Herrera stated, while giving a slight chuckle to the last part of her statement.

"Yeah we kinda already know what the actual paparazzi out in the real world does to celebrities such as ourselves" I chuckled.

"It's not pretty." Skyler agreed with me with a smile.

To be honest she's not wrong. We've dealt with the paparazzi and the rumor mills a bunch of times. They can be nice to you at first, but then they can get annoying and ruthless after a while. They can betray you out of nowhere, Skyler can agree with that last part. It's because she tried dating someone from one of the city's big magazine companies a year ago, and the relationship didn't end well for her at all. I still feel really bad for her.

"What do you suggest then?" my mom asked the principal curiously.

"Hmm." The principal said but then paused to think for a bit.

I started thinking of ways as well, and I could tell that everyone else in the room was also thinking about it too. I knew Ryder wasn't going to be an option because one, he was the captain of the football team this year, and two he didn't really like being around us for too long. We could find someone or at most two people to show us around the school for today. The principal quickly looked up at the group in the office and I knew that we somehow thought of the same idea.

"I have an idea!" Principal Herrera stated with excitement.

"What is it?" Vice Principal Welch asked with a slight annoyed tone.

"We could get a student or two to give them a tour while the rest of the student body is in classes today." the principal smiled at her idea.

"I think that is a great idea!" my mom smiled.

"But who would you pick though? Both Tyler and I know Ryder can't for obvious reasons. Also he's the captain of the football team." Skyler incurred while I nodded in agreement.

"Oh I know who to trust with that." Principal Herrera smiled with excitement.

"I have a feeling of who you might decide to pick." The vice principal chuckled.

"Who is it?" my mom asked curiously.

"Here, I've got to go finish my quick meeting with those students from earlier and I'll call the other two to come down here after that" The principal smiled while quickly moving to her personal office before any of us could respond.

After a couple of minutes passing by, we noticed the students holding hall passes for class come out of the principal's office. Principal Herrera soon followed them back to the door of the general area of the main office.

"Please tell your teachers that I'm sorry for keeping you later than expected! Have a great day!" Principal Herrera exclaimed with a smile plastered on her face.

Then, she closed the door and turned her attention back to us. We gave her some concerned glances from her worried look.

"Sorry, I had to deal with some of their personal stuff from last year and to help them with this year." she explained to us.

"That's totally fine! We understand." my mom smiled sweetly.

"Ok let me go call your guides down to the office." Principal Herrera smiled at Skyler and I.

"Of course." I smiled while Skyler nodded in agreement.

While the principal went back into the office, the bell for the end of the first period rang. The school all of a sudden turned into a traffic jam especially near the main office area. I was amazed at first at the crowded hallways, but then I realized something! Skyler and I couldn't be seen yet by the student body. I almost went into panic mode.

"Oh no! They can't be seen yet!" my mom said with a worried look.

"They can come and hide in my office for the next five minutes." Principal Herrera popped her head out of her office, while Vice Principal Welch went to stand in front of the window to somewhat hide us.

Skyler and I briskly walked into her personal office to stay away from the curious stares from the other students. I noticed that some glances were given towards us.

"To be honest I really wasn't looking at the time from us getting to know each other." the principal said while kind of embarrassed.

"It's totally fine." I smiled.

The five minutes went by quickly because the next thing I heard was the bell for the start of the second period. I sighed a heavy breath of relief. Whew, that was a close one, I thought to myself. We walked back out into the main office lobby, and then we heard the principal's voice over the intercom.

"America Flores and Meghan Castro please come down to the main office!"
