As the Victus Redemptor exited warp travel and entered the ring world's orbit, Durar gets a vox from Callan as soon as he got in range of it

"Durar, I'm heading to the ship for my mission to the other rings. I will try to stay in touch as much as I can." Callan said to Durar over vox

"Alright, go and figure out what these Prometheans are and what the rings do." Durar said

"Aferative." Callan said as he cut his vox link

After Callan cut his vox link, Durar walked out of the bridge and started heading to the docking bay. On his way to the docking bay, he saw something in one of the hallways. He went to go check it out. It was a watcher in the dark.

"How are you here, watcher?" Durar said, puzzled

The watcher in the dark looks at Durar but doesn't answer him but gestures him to follow, Durar sees the watcher in the dark gesture at him to follow, and he does. The watcher in the dark led Durar for some time before saying anything. Then suddenly, the watcher in the dark said, "You are far from home company master."

"I know, where exactly are we watcher?" Durar said

"I do not know, and I do not know how to get you back to the emperor's light, but I can inform the Supreme Grand Master of how you are doing." The watcher said

"You can do that?" Durar asked

"Yes." Said the watcher not saying more than he needs too

"Alright, go and tell Azrael what has happened to us." Durar said as he turned around and started to walk off

After Durar said that the watcher disappeared and Durar started heading back to the docking bay to speak to Arentus. As he got to the docking bay, he went straight to Arentus

"Arentus, follow me." Durar said as he stopped in front of him

"Yes, sir." Arentus said

Durar turned around and led Arentus to map room, as they were heading to the map room, Durar voxed Nerial to meet him in the map room. Durar and Arentus entered the map room to find Nerial waiting there for them

"What may we be here for, brother?" Nerial asked

"I want to make an imperial guard regiment with Arentus being the commander of it." Durar said, walking into the room

"That would be a good idea, but is he trustworthy?" Nerial asked, staring at Arentus

"Vox a librarian." Durar ordered

"Yes, brother." Nerial said, turning on the vox and voxing a librarian to come to the map room. After some waiting, the librarian enters the room and looks at Arentus, then at Durar

"Is he the one?" The librarian said with no emotion in his voice

"Yes." As Durar said that the librarian's head turned so fast, Arentus couldn't see it, but before he knew anything, his mind was getting probed by the librarians warp power entering his mind

Durar moved Arentus's body into a chair because with the librarian entering his mind, he lost all functions, and Durar had to sit him down

"Find his true loyalty. If he truly wishes to join us, then we will find it out here." Durar said, taking a seat and watching the librarian do his thing

"Yes, I agree, brother." Nerial said

"I am done, brothers." Thw librarian said

"What really that was fast." Nerial said

"Yes, his loyalty is clear it is to you company master." The librarian said

"Good wake him." Durar said, staring at Arentus

As Durar said that the librarian woke him up, and Arentus woke with his eyes wide open, looking around frantically, then his eyes looked straight at Durar

"What was that!?" He said angrily

"It was a librarian entering your mind." Durar said calmly

"May I ask why." Arentus said, still looking at Durar

"To see where your true loyalty stands and my suspension were right, Arentus, you will be the commander of the ring guards." Durar said, standing up and walking over to Arentus

"Thank you sir." Arentus said

"It will be chapter master from now on." Durar said

"Yes, chapter master." Arentus corrected himself

"Now to inform your crew on your ship that they are the new ring guard." Durar said to Arentus

"Company master may I ask something of you?" Arentus asked

"Sure, what is it, Arentus?" Durar said as he stopped

"Most off my crew have family's that they have left at the UNSC I am asking you this now can they live on the ring world?" Arentus asked hesitantly

"Yes, it is. It is for safe here then at the UNSC." Durar said, continuing to walk

"Thank you, company master." Said Arentus as he followed Durar

"Think nothing of it, now we must inform your crew." Said Durar as they were on their way to Arentus's ship
