Chapter Twenty-Six: Predacon Island Pt1

"Hey, TurboRacer, what do those symbols mean?" Daphne now asked him, pointing at a couple of interesting shaped symbols in the far right-hand corner in upper part of the screen. He paused in his motions, looking to where she was pointing. When he found it, She noticed how the corner of his lip plates twitched. "What?" Daphne prodded like a curious cat, wanting to know what amused TurboRacer so much.

TurboRacer's optics seem to brighten microscopically as he informed her evenly. "Those symbols you're pointing to are actually my name."

Daphne blinked in astonishment. "Really? Cool." Even though Daphne could not read Cybertronian, the mystery of the foreign language appealed greatly to her. "They look like flames."

And indeed, the swirling symbols did indeed look reminiscent of swirling tongues of flame. The irony of the design made her amaze as Daphne tried to commit the information to memory. She never knew knowing how to spell your name in Cybertronian could help.

"So, what were you two doing?" Daphne now asked.

"Ash has been telling me about something he's been seeing within his sleep." TurboRacer explained to the human in purple. "Apparently, he's spoken of some kind of island somewhere in the world where there's other Predacons that have survived hiding there." He taps his digits on the control panel like a keyboard, but search results have come up negative. "But so far, nothing."

"Yeah. But I'm telling you." Ash insisted. "Especially when I saw different Predacons and other bestial Transformers on that island."

Ratchet overheard this and scoffed. "That's absurd. We have already established that Predacons have been extinct since the beginning. What makes you think that there'd be Predacons alive right now?"

TurboRacer then had a sudden thought. "What if these Predacons are different?" He spoke up, which now got the attention of everyone else. "What if the Predacons that Ash is seeing in his sleep are different than those we know of?"

"TurboRacer, what are you insinuating?" Ratchet inquired.

"He's saying that the Predacons that Ash is talking about aren't the same ones that he found back on that ship before he became Indominus." Velma clarified for them. "Maybe they came here at a different time or are from a different planet, like one of those Cybertronian colonies that you mentioned of."

"Like, you mean, these Predacons are not from Cybertron?" Shaggy inquired.

"Exactly, Shaggy." Hayden stepped in. "Ratchet did mention that there are some colonies out there like Caminus, Prion, Velocitron, and more."

Ratchet then stopped and he reconsidered his words in regard. "Maybe..." He walked over. "Ash, do you recall what this Predacon symbol looks like?" He asked.

Ash now began to use the holoscreen to draw up the logo he'd seen in his dream. After a little while, he got the design down, and brings it up on the holoscreen for the others to look at it. They look at the new logo and they compare it against the Predacon insignia.
