INT. LOKI'S BEDROOM - DAY
You knock on Loki's door, ready to clean his room for the day.
No answer.
Then...
You hear a strange, muffled sound from inside.
You open the door, to see Loki hanging upside down from a rope tied to the ceiling. His mouth is covered in a cloth.
Loki tries to speak, but you can't understand a word.
YOU
How...? Oh, wait, don't bother answering. I'll get you down.
You look around the room. Maybe a chair could reach him?
Loki screams your name, even though it's muffled.
You look up at him to see him eyeballing his desk.
You go over to look.
YOU
Loki, there's nothing here.
Suddenly, a drawer starts glowing bright green. You open it.
His daggers are lying there. You take one, feeling the wait of it. Then you turn around, getting ready to throw the dagger.
Loki's eyes grow wide and he starts shaking around.
YOU
Stop moving! I can't get a clear shot.
Loki stops moving and squints his eyes shut.
You throw the dagger and it severs the rope.
Loki falls to the floor with a thud.
You set the dagger down and run over to Loki. You untie the cloth around his mouth.
LOKI
I will kill him for this!!!
You start untying the rest of the rope.
YOU
Your brother?
LOKI
Who else? I don't even know how he managed to trick me into this.
YOU
How did he?
LOKI
Let's just say, he lured me here, straight into a perfectly placed trap, and then once I was stuck, he wanted to keep me from talking.
YOU
How long were you up there for?
LOKI
...Since last night.
YOU
WHAT? How can you hang upside down for that long?
LOKI
I don't know, but I'm sure my face is completely purple.
YOU
It's not.
LOKI
Because you're not seeing the real me.
You give Loki a disappointed look.
YOU
Loki.
LOKI
What? I don't need anyone to walk in and see me completely purple. Now, I just have to get Thor back.
You finish untying the ropes and stand up, offering Loki a hand. He takes it.
YOU
You need to rest. You probably got no sleep. And your head needs to readjust.
LOKI
I'm fine.
Loki walks over to his bathroom.
LOKI
Why don't you come back later--
Loki steps through the bathroom door only be dunked in a slosh of chunky, expired milk. He stands still, seething in anger.
LOKI
