The sound of multiple feet crunching the dry grass and skittering of small pebbles below can be heard at different patterns as two sisters wondered around in the open space of Lake George Campground. They've never experienced nature of this magnitude before. The air was crisp and deafening compared to the populated streets of New York City as they reached the steady dark green lake that flowed north of their cabin. Their lungs felt cleanse as their eyes took in the mix of bright and dull colors that represent the closing of summer.

As the youngest made her way to a tall full tree that had small white flowers surrounded by a mix of brown and green leaves that fell on the grass, the oldest groaned when she didn't feel the weight of the device she always carries around her neck.

"Ugh Nai! I left my camera con Mami, I have to go get it. You'll be okay right?" She looked around, left and right, front and back through the bushes, calculating the distance between them and the cabin. As she squints her eyes, she sees their mother placing purple and pink unicorn princess balloons on the porch of the fully equipped three bedroom, red painted, tall wooden structure that can be seen from the distance. Their mother specifically limited the extent of their walk of this 5 acre cabin, she wanted her girls safe. Making the oldest in charge of the two, so if she can see the cabin they were close enough.

"Yessy no! Don't leave me." Young Nai whined as she stood tall ready to run behind her sister who began to walk away. Growing up she learned that sisters always stick together. Never leave each other's side.

"Nairobi it's ok, I'll be quick. I want to make it back before the sun starts to settle. You're a big girl now, today's your 7th birthday nena! You can pick some flowers to add to your scrapbook later or throw some pebbles in the lake, it skips just like in the movies." Yesenia glanced at her blue baby g-shock to check when the sun is setting exactly as she always calculates the perfect Polaroid moment before turning to her younger sister to encourage her in hopes that her concern will lessen which seemed to work.

"Fine! Whatever. You're right I am a big girl now! Then I'll be starting college just like you" She stuck her tongue out in a tease as Yesenia just smiled at her growing sister's antics.

"Alright, don't act too grown now little girl. I'll be back, DON'T MOVE!" Yessy deadpanned shaking her head laughing while walking away.

A few minutes passed by as the young girl wondered within the space observing nature that she doesn't get to witness much, trying to skip rocks which she successfully achieved once, and touching the soft waters that tickled between her fingers. Once she finally settled down near the familiar tree, her eyes followed a slight shine on her side she didn't capture before. The wind illuminated the sparkles in the small white flowers she first laid eyes on by the tree. They were an outstanding white that shimmered, a feature she didn't observed before. Intrigued by its beauty she began plucking them for her scrapbook but she noticed the flowers began to dwindled in her hands. Confused by the sudden change she plucked another one. Also, went limp. And another one. Dead.
