War.

It was something brutal withour mercy and unfair. Despite what treason you commited you could be showered in wealth or strung up on the gallows.

Even though it ended ten years ago with our, Capitols, victory we still felt the damage it brought. When I was born poverty was just some fairy tale said by the parents to scare their children but now it was almost everywhere.

Don't get me wrong. My family wasn't indigent but like everyone we lost something in the war. And in my opinion poverty was a better option than being viewed as a worthless traitor even though you didn't commit treason.

In the end an apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?

But in all that mess there were some miracles that happened or strange occurances.

How else could you describe the Plinth family? A family that migrated from the districts was one thing but their commitment to the Capitol was another thing.

How could we the [Y/L/N] compete to them?

The anwser was easy.

We couldn't even if we spend more money to rebuilt the city than them.

Nothing could bring our old glory back. All thanks to my oldest brother which treason I will reveal another time.
