When he asked that Riley had raised an eyebrow in surprise, since he's pretty much right about that what so ever. So he decided to just tell them the truth, after all if they know the truth then it's possible that they could help out in the future.

Riley had started to wonder if anybody else has captured any Mythical/Legendary Pokémon around the world, from what he remembers from Tobias is that Haleakala and Lehua has been going around the world taking care of them.
But he also knows that they can't go and take care all of them at the same time, but Riley also remembers that that not only Pokémon gets sent to random universes but people as well....they just gotta hope none of them a big problem.
Alain:hmm hey Riley there's something I'd like to ask of you.he asked him
Riley:well sure what is it.he questioned
Alain:I'd like to have a battle with you.he asked him
To be honest Riley has expected one of them to ask him that but he was surprised that it took them that long, ever since he watched the Sinnoh league and the Kalos league he was curious about both of their strengths and their battling style.
Riley:hmm I see so you want to battle me? I'm surprised it took you this long to ask me tho but sure I'll battle you. But a small warning tho, I'm not the same person like how I was back in the Sinnoh league.he warned them
Alain:*smirks*that makes it all the more better and you better not hold back on me.he said back to him
Paul:if that's the case I'd like to battle you as well Riley.he said back to him
Riley:*chuckles*oh don't worry I'll battle you as well Paul, how about we have a 3 vs 3 battle? I'll battle you with 3 Pokémon each.he suggested to them
In which both Paul and Alain was ok with this so they both agreed to it, as this will also a be a good cause for them since they won't only know how strong they've gotten but also see if they'll be able to defeat their mains goals.
Change Scene Kanto
In Kanto there's 2 people currently talking to each other in a rather lavish looking mansion, as these 2 people are Charles Goodshow and his granddaughter Giselle Yggdmillennia the current Champion of the Kanto region.
