A few hours have passed since Mike and I discovered Abby's drawings. I made Abby a grilled cheese sandwich and some soup. When I served it to her she immediately started eating. While she was eating, Mike was sitting on a chair next to her with a picture of garret in a black car in his pocket. I washed my hands and sat down between Mike and Abby while he tried to find words to start the conversation

I lifted up my hand and started rubbing circles around his back as he took a breathe and spoke. "Hey, Abby, um, we need to talk about last night, okay?" He said staring at the table, not making eye contact with Abby yet. Abby took a bite of her grilled cheese before putting it down to look at mike. "So those uh, those... machines..." "My friends?" Abby asked for confirmation. "Your friends? Um... are they...?" Mike spoke again.

"Ghosts?" Abby asked. "Yeah." Mike said, making eye contact. "Of course. How else could they make the robots move?" Abby confirmed. She was very chill about her friends that are literal ghosts controlling animatronics. Mike and I were a bit shocked by this information but tried not to show it on our faces. "Right." Mike said. "Can I have some more soup?" Abby asked, trying to change the subject. Mike got up and walked into the kitchen to warm up some more soup for Abby

While he was waiting for the soup to warm up he started talking about Garret. He walked back in frame and leaned on the frame, putting his hand on his hip. "I don't... I don't really talk about him very much." He said. "Neither did Mom or Dad." Abby added. "Yeah it was hard for them. It's hard for me, too." Mike said, causing Abby to slightly nod her head. I gave both of them a sympathetic look before Mike pulled out the picture from his pocket and sat back down

He gave Abby the picture and asked her a few questions about it. I put one hand on Mikes lower back and the other on Abby's head as I gently pet her hair. She looked like she was about to cry so Mike and I comforted her, telling her that we wouldn't get mad at her and to help us understand the drawing. "That's when Garret got taken." Abby spoke softly, not taking her eyes off the drawing

"Abby, who told you about that? W-was it a-a boy with blonde hair?" He asked her, obviously getting a little worried. This cause her to nod her head and after a couple more questions, we didn't really get the answers we were looking for. Then, Abby offered to ask the kids when we got there, which Mike said he would appreciate

Timeskip To That Night

We arrived at the pizzeria and saw that Vanessas car was already here. When we got out the car, I immediately walked to the gate and left Mike and Abby to their own conversation. I unlocked the gate and Abby ran in announcing she was back to her friends and saying hi to Vanessa

"Mike. Y/n." Vanessa greeted us. "Vanessa" Mike and I greeted back. We looked at Abby to see she got up on the stage saying she missed the animatronics as they moved around, happy to see Abby. "You knew about this." Mike told Vanessa. "Guess you figured it out." She responded. I looked at her with a 'you knew?' face and Mike spoke up. "Ghost children possessing animatronics?" Mike said sarcastically. "Yeah, a heads-up would've been appreciated." I said sarcastically as-well

"Guys, we need help." Abby announced. We walked over to her to see she wrote a blueprint for a fort with her crayons. She places it in a stepping stool and told us it needed to be bug so everyone could fit inside. We looked up to see the Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica, staring down at the blueprint Abby drew. Mike took Abby aside and told her about laying so e ground rules before asking for mine and Vanessas opinion

"I think we could use the tables for the fort." Vanessa told Abby. Mike gave her a disappointed look before turning to look at me for some help. I gave him a smirk and spoke "We're also gonna need as many chairs as we can get!" I smiled, putting my hands on my hips and looking around the room for chairs. Mike also gave me a disappointed look as Abby and Vanessa ran off to get the stuff for the fort

"Oh come on babe, have some fun!" I said cupping his cheek and giving him a peck on the lips. I smiled and slowly walked away "Let loose a little!" I did a little shimmy which caused Mike to chuckle before I turned around and went with Abby and Vanessa. Soon enough, Mike joined us in collecting the tables and chairs. We all participated in making the fort, even the animatronics helped us out. After about an hour we completed the fort, with some complications of course, but we finished it nonetheless

After we finished we all laid down inside the fort in a circle, including the animatronics. I was between Mike and Abby since Abby wanted me to lay next to her. "I like it in here" Vanessa stated. "Me too" Abby agreed. "I third that!" I said putting my hand in the air and dropping it on the floor, causing a giggle from everyone. "But I think it's gonna rain soon. "Abby announces. "Sounds like we need a roof. I'll go see what I can find." Vanessa said getting up. Mike looked at me and Abby before getting up to go with Vanessa

Mike crawled over me and whispered to Abby "Abby, don't forget to ask." Mike told Abby, to which she nodded her head in response. He crawled back to his spot and was about to get up before I interrupted him. "Wait!" I said sitting up. Mike stopped and turned to me with a confused face. I crawled over to him and gave him a passionate kiss before crawling back to Abby's side

"What was that for?" Mike asked with an obvious blush on his face. "Abby told me to do it!" I smiled, pointing at Abby. "What? No I didn't!" She protested. I laughed at her answer which made Mike roll his eyes and walk away to catch up with Vanessa. "Anyone up for some dancing?" I said sitting up on my elbow. "Yeah! What do you say, guys!" Abby asked the animatronics. They got up and started walking around, Freddy and Bonnie got on stage while Chica and Foxy stayed on the floor with Abby and I

Abby and I stood on the floor ready to dance. After a couple seconds the speakers started playing "Real Wild Child" By Iggy Pop. Abby and I were dancing to the song as Mike and Vanessa came back into the room. I jogged to them while Abby continued dancing "Oh hey! You got some covers for the fort!" I said happily. Just then Vanessas expression changed to fear and worry

"Abby! Wait. Abby, don't" Vanessa yelled running up to the stage. Mike and I turned around and saw Abby try to play Bonnies guitar but got flown back by sparks. We all ran to her side to see she grew unconscious but after a couple minutes she slowly woke up. She opened her eyes and coughed a couple times causing everyone to sigh in relief. "What happened?" Abby asked, after a couple coughs

"Oh my god Abby! I'm so sorry I shouldn't have walked away from you!" I grabbed her and gave her a huge hug with no intention of letting go. "It's okay Abby. You just had an accident." Vanessa reassured her. I kept apologizing to Abby while rubbing her back and eventually she forgave me

After a couple more hours, the shift was finally over and we said our goodbyes to the animatronics before walking out the pizzeria. I locked the gate and we all walked to our cars. Abby and I stayed in the car while Mike was outside talking to Vanessa. When they stopped talking Mike got into the car but Vanessa looked really angry for some reason. I wasn't going to say anything but Abby decided to do the opposite

"She looked so angry. Why does everyone always look at you that way?" She asked softly. I looked at Abby and told her that wasn't a nice thing to say at a time like this. I looked back at Mike and he had a look of defeat and slight despair. I lifted my arm and rubbed the back of his neck for reassurance before he drove off
