Up in the Clouds

Part 1

You yawn and look at him, "I'm sorry I fell asleep." you say softly.

"It's okay, I wasn't sure if you wanted to stay or not. You both look so comfortable." he smiles a little.

"What time is it?" you look at him.

 "It is almost 10pm." he rubs your arm.

"I can stay if that is okay? I really don't feel like driving this late, and I'm so comfortable with her." you giggle a little, cuddling Violet. 

He smiles at you putting his hand on your cheek, "Yeah, you can stay." 

You blush hard, getting nervous and shy under his touch, "T-Thanks." 

"Did you want to come to my room? The bed is more comfortable and I can sleep on the floor in there with Hera." he smiles a little. 

You blush harder, "Really? I mean, if you don't mind." 

"Y/n it's fine, please. Come on." he pulls the blanket off of you both slowly and picks up Violet and walks to his room. You get up and follow him up the stairs to his room. He walks over to his bed and lays Violet down slowly pulling the covers over her and kisses her head. You walk into his room looking around and smile at all his art and posters on the wall. You walk over to his shelves of swords and you look at them noticing he had two new ones. He turns around and sees you looking at his swords and he smiles walking over to you. "I got those two from my birthday and Jack got me one." 

"You and your swords." you turn around and look up at him and he nods.

"Do you want a change of clothes?" he walks over to his closet.

"No it's okay." you get into bed with Violet and cuddle under the covers with her. Vinnie walks back out wearing sweats and a t shirt. He grabs a pillow from his bed and pulls a twin size mattress from under his bed and he lays down on it. "Goodnight Vinnie." 

"Goodnight y/n." he smiles and covers himself in the blanket. 

After an hour, you couldn't fall asleep. You felt bad for Vinnie to have to sleep on the floor while you were comfortable on his bed. You turn over and look over the edge of the bed and you see that he is looking up at the ceiling and he looks over at you smiling, "You okay y/n?" 

"Ca-Can you come and lay up here? I can't fall asleep and I feel bad for you sleeping on the floor." you blush.

 "You sure? I don't want to overstep." he sits up a little.

"Vinnie, we slept together in the same bed for 2 years and we have a daughter together, I don't think you are overstepping anything." you lay down with Violet as Vinnie gets up and lays down on the bed behind you, but he keeps his distance. You look back at him and you sigh, "Vinnie, you can cuddle us." 

"Are you sure? Y/n, I don't want to make you uncomfortable." he looks at you.

"Just promise you wont be weird about this." you cuddle Violet. Vinnie lays on his side and wraps his arm around you and Violet, holding you close to him. You snuggle into him and Violet and rub his forearm.

The next morning, Vinnie woke up and stretched out his arms and legs before looking over to his side and seeing Violet sitting up against his headboard watching tv while holding her teddy bear sucking on her thumb. Violet looks over at him and smiles taking her thumb out of her mouth, "Good morning daddy!" 

He clears his throat, "Good morning baby, where's mommy?" he sits up rubbing his eyes.

"She went back home. She said she will be back on the next day to pick me up." she puts her thumb back in her mouth watching tv.
