First Chapter ~ The heroine

Agra , Delhi .

A man was standing in his room with his hand on the head . He looked tensed , worried and lost .

" Abh hum kya kare...agar abhi hum Lucknow wapas jate hai toh sab kuch phirse bikhar jayega , cheh mahine pehle hum chod kar aa gaye abh agar phir se...nahi ! Humein wapas nahi jana "

" Dekhiye sir hum wapas nahi ja sakte , yeh humare liye impossible hai " He tried to explain his point to his boss .

" This is important Anubhav . Tum apne personal life ko chod kar apne kaam pe dhyan dena... bas ! Simple . Aur tumhare liye flights ki ticket , khane pine ka intezam sab toh department se kar diya jayega so don't worry...apne Desh ke liye tumhe itna toh karna hi padega " His boss ordered .

Anubhav sighed as he heard the beep of phone . He threw his phone on the bed frustration . He knew that if he goes there he will again have to face all the pasts he left there 6 months ago .

Anubhav has a great role in Ramesh's life . His little girl was forcedly getting married with double aged man by his uncle . Where Anubhav saved her and sent her to a hostel where she now studies along with enjoying her life . The uncle was arrested later for this dirty crime .

Since then Ramesh was always grateful to Anubhav .

Anubhav sat on his sofa looking around the house . He sighed . He took out his phone and saw almost 20 missed calls from his senior . Anubhav immediately dialled his number .

" Anubhav ! Phone kyun nahi utha rahe the ! "

" Sir woh phone silent pe tha toh..."

" Anyways ! Now listen carefully tum jis mission ke liye yahan aye ho woh mission successful hoga tabhi jab tum is gang ko no ladkiyan kidnap karke unhe bechte hai uske baad uske sath rape , gang rape , sexual assault , violence karte hain unko jald se jald pakdoge "

Anubha hummed .

At night .

Ah ! This frustration ! I missed my periods why the hell ? Don't tell me that I'm going to be a mother . No ! It happen to me sometimes . Sometimes I get extremely late periods . Hona hi hai...itna pressure agar kisipe Diya jayega toh uske health pe bhi toh effect padega na !

I have consulted my doctor about it and she said completely normal in the professional like this . Being a police officer is not easy at all . And after all I never get some mental peace also . It's missing from my freaking life since...

So it's totally okay .

I am gonna visit my favourite person now . I mean his mother. He was my favourite but now in the matter of his leaving I think his mother is now my most favourite . My mother left for a pilgrimage few days ago so it now his mother for me .

I wore a coat . It's already cold here .

I took my car keys and left . It's not too late . It's 10:00 pm . She is awake I guess . Even if she not . I will go and take some rest there.

While driving that striked my mind that . Is she even home ? She told me that she was going to leave for some relative's house. Anyways . Let's check .

Few minutes later while enjoying the cool breeze and night atmosphere I reached there . The moon is looking extremely beautiful tonight . It never looked this good . Winter is my favourite season . Now only few things are left in my life being my favourite . Winter , my job , my wardrobe and ..... Idk .

I opened the house door . It was all empty but a light was on since someone is home . I'm lucky . She's home. My phone starts ringing .

" Ji maa "

" Haseena tu Zara Ghar ka khyal rakh lena main parso lautungi "

" Matlab aap ghar pe nahi ho ? " I asked .

" Nahi " She casually replied.

" Toh phir..."

" Toh phir ? Toh phir kya ? "

" Kuch nahi "

" Ji , aur apna khyal rakhna "

I hung up . Then maybe she left the dim light on . I sighed . I went to the kitchen to make some coffee for myself . You may ask me that why I am going to someone else's kitchen for preparing some coffee for myself when I have my own . But honestly this is my comfort place to make coffee .

Wait...

Why the plates are lying dirty on the sink . She will never things like this . She is too clean to explain. I think she's forgotten . I did the dishes and then took the milk pot out the refrigerator . I was about to lit up the gas when I heard some footsteps reaching the kitchen . My sixth sense hit me hard and I took out the gun out of my secret pocket of my coat .

I stopped my work and slowly towards the gate with the gun in my fist .

I guessed right . Someone is in the house more than me .

The footsteps reached me and a man appeared if I'm not wrong he is someone I know too well .

I was going shoot him when he came out of the darkness to fill the light and...
